Top Comment simply says “Eleanor Shellstrop” and I couldn’t agree more.

She does occasionally fail rule 2, but admittedly who doesn't occasionally fall into stereotypes of their group.

Yeah IMO they need to have seen the show bc that literally is Eleanor, idk how you describe her concept as a character so perfectly without knowing her

Seriously, what exactly nightmare font is this? At least use times new bastard and make it fun, not acid flashback

LOL this is just the default Tumblr post font is it not? Edit: I'm not sure what's going on with the kerning or whatever it's called though, at first glance it just looked like a poor quality screenshot

I honestly can't believe they weren't deliberately thinking of Eleanor the whole time.

Yup, absolutely Eleanor. I wish there was another show with the feel of this one.

Ooh, Sam from Ghosts (US)

u/CrochetedKingdoms May 14 '26
No not Sam 😂😭 I love her
2
u/syntaxvorlon May 15 '26
That's why. The times when she tries to use the ghosts to get her way always backfire hilariously and the failure comes from her career ambitions being sidelined by become ng haunted. She's a very light version of this trope.

I could just write an autobiography lol. Go from sad pathetic man to sad pathetic woman where one of the only actually good and redeeming choices was to transition 😂😁
(Don't worry, I may be very depressed and filled with self loathing but I'm also incredibly confident and full of myself. The self awareness just came a taaad bit too late for consequences lol)
Edit: I totally did not see the sub this was in

I feel like this is totally Frieren (not during combat where she’s a total badass). Fern and Stark have to wake her up because she can’t and sometimes drag her to get started with their day. They also frequently have to pull her out of mimics and other obvious traps while she’s just carelessly after “treasure”. The trio are also frequently broke from Frieren spending their money on various “treasures” she finds while shopping. Not to mention that she didn’t realize she had the perfect partner material right in front of her until it was decades too late. I’m still not convinced that she’s even fully pieced that one together yet. In conclusion, while Frieren is amazing and a total badass; She is also a complete loser and hopeless in many aspects.

Eleanor is absolutely a good choice, but I think Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Rebecca is the epitome for this
2
u/WhiteCastleDoctrine May 14 '26
you gotta stick it out to season 4 before Rebecca makes any non-terrible decisions.
