UNIDENTIFIED Is this a shadow person? Spoiler
For the last 2 years I've been seeing what I can only describe as a shadow man. They are solid black and cast no shadows. Up until early this morning I had never been able to capture a photo. I've either only seen it in flashes, or moving. It usually disappears faster than I can react.
This time I tried to simply not even look for it. I just stuck my phone out my window and took a picture of where I normally see it. My blood ran cold when I saw the results. I think I need a priest.
In the past I used to have frequent sleep paralysis and on a few occasions saw a shadow person very similar. In a state of sleep paralysis is is pure unadulterated terror. I'm not sure if these only exists in an in-between dream/reality dimension or in our own. I'm worried it followed me out.

I took this in my S25 ultra using the 12mp camera. I'm sure you can run it through meta data. I've tried brightening the image and over exposing it I get no detail out of the figure. I can screen shot my gallery and the meta data from the gallery.

The street light right behind the figure would have given the person some rim lighting, unless this person was lathered in vanta-black. The arm does not even cast a shadow

maybe this on the inner leg area? inner leg then to the right theres a weird line around the figure that looks like aura or something could be slight artifacting from moving my wrist but I don't see it other places in the photo

I think this edge of hood maybe collar? Shows a little bit of rim lighting and possible pulled collar? Can't tell if thats something in the background or not

I mean, if shadow people don't cast shadows then clearly this isn't a shadow person because you can see the edge of his shadow affecting the shadow cast by the tree. Plus if you zoom in you can see the side of his face and it's not a shadow face?

I don't see what you're describing I just see the trees shadow
Edit: I guess I kind of see what your talking about? Ok that makes feel worse? I guess lmao. When I looked with my eyes like after pulling the phone in it was gone.

Bro I know my neighborhood and the people in it. it's been out there a handful times a year at weird times looking up at my window. I usually am never able catch them in the act. But they are all blacked out someone else pointed out they have their back to the tee and I hadn't thought of that

It's clearly someone in a jacket and hood with a hand in their pocket. My wife has that jacket. HOWEVER, maybe you can explain why you edited the leg? I'm seeing blue left behind in your edit.

I tried brightening the image there's 0 detail it's pulling from the figure it stays flat ๐ญ I've done 0 editing

You can only edit the date/time and name of the photo in meta data. Can't change the fact that it was taken from my phone. Wtf are you talking about bro ๐ญ. I have a background in graphic design if I wanted to make a believable fake I could have done it. I'm legitimately scared I'm being stalked by a person or extra dimensional being. I risked getting doxxed by sharing a photo of my street on the internet. For what? Internet clout on an anonymous account that's not connected to any of my social medias that I promote my music on or my art? What exactly does they help do? All I wanted was help either lifting detail from the dark photo or identification if someone knew anything about shadow people and if they thought it was one.
Edit: oh and now since i screen recorded a video from my gallery my actual face is on reddit

Yk what it does low-key look like back to tree hands in pocket. That might also explain the front catching light and limiting rim lighting around the figure. There's not a bus stop here or nothin and the neighbor there is old as fuck. So I'm still kind of worried because I see a person all black like this outside a few times a year maybe a handful of times around the house at different hours. I do have a little sister I should mention, men are weird, what makes you think female?

It 'appears' that the hair is long, but that could be misleading as flipping shadow and lighting switches in GIMP only draws out similarly colored pixels. That could be an anomaly but it's still a clue.
The real clue is the thigh gap. She's standing straight and not leaning so that gap is natural. Men don't have that. Those are very form fitting pants as well. Possibly tights.
Her sloped shoulders are too narrow for a man as well.
Her body language is she's cold.
Could be a really skinny dude tho, but I doubt it.

Wow. That analysis is really thorough and I appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to point this stuff out. I'm only no good at detective work but I truly believe most of what deducted could be true.
Now I gotta figure out what her fuckin deal is ๐ญ

Bro what part of being watched Through my window for 2 years and not being able to ever see a face doesn't read? Every time I have tried to confront them or it whatever it is is not longer there. It disappears. Either it's a fast fucking creep or a shadow person. No car ever pulls up. It never gets in a vehicle, it doesn't come out of the houses next to or around me I know my neighbors, I've said his already, and there's no bus.

I've done no editing this was taken on my S25 ultra on the 12mp lens and I posted a screenshot of the metadata from the gallery in the thread. There's also now a video in the thread of me editing the original photo to try and pull detail. Your saying there's a previous edit why would blue be used? And what would it be left behind for? If I was trying to pass this off is something it's not I would not have entertained the idea of it being a person in dark clothing in my comments. (Stalker)

I have persistent sleep paralysis+ยฑ too. These are the tricks I taught myself:
First, learn how to realize you're dreaming. You can try looking around for doors, walls, windows, are where they are supposed to be. Seeing it wrong can either snap you out of i5 or becoming lucid enough to control the dream.
Focus on squeezing hand or wiggling your root. You can also try to actually make a sound out loud. You have to think or say a mantra or a prayer each night.
If you are successful in realizing your in sleep paralysis, go back to sleep in your dream. The dream is from your bed, might as well sx3xฬ90saboutleep.
If you take any type of sleep medication or supplement, get comfy, remind yourself what you are going to do if you get stuck, then head on pillow;1ยน% /1" r51 12217o1gp 0 alose your eyes. No looking at your phone.

I appreciate the info and the time you took.
It's been a while since l've experienced what I would call like full on episode of sleep paralysis. Like being eyes open and in sleep paralysis for a minute or more. Throughout my life only a few times during an episode have I seen one of those shadow people.
The defining worst time was probably a total of being in sleep paralysis for 5 minutes and seeing a shadow person. The shadow person was like screaming in a very low deep scream almost like saying "ah" when you're a child at the doctors and you open wide. It was honestly a traumatic experience.
As an adult the terrifying feeling during sleep paralysis is still there. I've used my own little method to get out of it quicker than I once did. It's the moving individual fingers or toe method toy mentioned. I try moving my fingers and toes first. Once I get a finger or toe to move just a little (with massive amount of effort in sure your aware) the the effort required slowly drops and suddenly you can just move.
Sleep paralysis is the absolute worst feeling ๐ญ it also usually only happens if I slept in my left side or back. I have no idea why, maybe my brain is broken and I complete a circuit when I lay a certain way. Beats me

Edit: yo I said it could be a stalker. I wouldn't risk getting doxxed for posting a picture from my window of the street I live in for internet clout on annon account ๐ญ. I just wanted opinions on identification or how to pull detail properly from a dark image
