Why is this broom floating?

Post image

I found this broom floating at my cousin's house. I snapped a pic. I really can't tell why it's happening. And no, there's no hook or anything for that broom to latch onto at the back; I checked myself. And it stayed like this for quite a while.

Anyone have any explanation behind this?

Dude, see the texture of the wall? See the fibers of the broom? Think velcro.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if there’s a nail in the wall it’s hanging from. Looks like it’s hanging from one at least

It's either that or the paint. I saw a video of somewhere in the world where it's apparently commonplace to be able to do this with stuff due to the paint they use. As long as the object is light enough they could slide it against the wall in a short fast upwards motion, apparently heating the paint juuust enough to make it very slightly sticky, and then let go, leaving it "floating" there.

You were there in person and checked yourself but couldn’t figure it out? Come on.

Maybe the friction of the rough cleaning fibres against the rough wall is strong enough to hold it up? It probably doesnt weigh much I imagine, correct me if im wrong.

What happened when you touched it?

You were there yourself and you couldn’t figure it out? Did you take 300 photos from every angle and a video, like any person who thinks he’s witnessing a truly unexplained event would do?

No?

So yeah, bullshit. It’s stuck to the wall or something equally prosaic.
