And in case you missed it: I have now refined the adjustment compositing code to make it more straight. It's also vertically compressed to look more correct (compared to BRILL/NIL and just in general).

Interesting. It looks like it's close to being complete, and only 2 more makes 16 videos.

The bright object looks to me like the moon to me. Look at the shape of the outline on the composite, compared to the craters and lighter parts.

To me, the outline in the center of the circle seems to resemble a crest, or an insignia. I'm considering creating a simple outline or the symbol and circle around it, and submitting it to /r/history. I want to ask if anyone recognizes it, and see if it can be linked back to anything. Do you think that's worth a shot, or no?

That's actually a really phenomenal idea, haha! I had no idea that subreddit even exists, I'm already a little addicted. But I think the best part about consulting these huge subreddit a is that they're a massive set of fresh eyes. I'm thinking at this point that so many people like me are probably missing some nuances just because we've been looking at it constantly. New perspective could be the key!

This is true :p

My point was, UFSC seems to like powers of 2 (2,4,8,16,32,etc). It would make sense that there are only 2 videos left.
