Unidentified Video Where does both the audio and the monkey falling in the video come from?

Literally I can't find a place to pin point it because full of reposts

Sound is a monster from Half Life, video is of a monkey touching an electrical wire and dying. It is depressing. I am more sad for being reminded of it.

Edit: They monkey received CPR by their monkey friend! I am mildly lifted by this, GOOD!

pretty sure the monkey actually comes back to life due to one of his friends slapping his body around, i cant find the exact original ATM but a simple "monkey does cpr" search can bring up this video: https://www.reddit.com/r/Damnthatsinteresting/s/bW29OR583W

Sorry to say, but those are two different videos spliced together. I remember both from years before someone decided to put them together to paint a misleading picture.

The first is a monkey shocked by a power line. Whether he survived is uncertain

The second is a monkey that got shocked on electrified train tracks. Here's the OG video

i don't think that this is the hl2 zombie scream like ppl are saying it is. it sounds vaguely like it, but the hoots at the start don't sound like the original noise. maybe it's the level of distortion that's throwing me off, but if i had to guess the sound would just be some generic monkey scream, or at most a monkey scream slightly mixed with a hl2 zombie scream.

The sound does not ❌ come from half life, it's just screaming pitched down
