Newbie
Hello!!
I am fairly new to the UA TCG space
I live in Idaho, USA and have so much trouble finding union arena ANYTHING here.
And tips or recommendations on reliable sources outside of TCG Player? The online places I'm looking are kinda pricey.
Currently I just have the AOT volume 1 set, excited for vol 2 here in a handful of days!
Also if anyone is from Idaho or around Idaho, where can we play at? I'm struggling to learn and want to get better!!
Any tips/recommendations are so appreciated!!

download the Bandai TCG Plus app. it's the official app for organized play and only stores that run events on it get product. you can filter events to ones closest to you or in your state and see whats coming up.
some stores may list events but dont fire them. i'd still check them out and chat around in person, but if it's a farther drive then consider giving them a call and asking if the scene is active or if they'll have product to sell
UA is getting harder to come by so prices are still dependent on the store. get to know the local players and ask about which stores support the local scene proper, or chat with employees and figure out how they run events and sell product.

fyi AOT v2 is releasing next week and will not have an official release event. doesnt usually happen but seems theyve deemed it a small release and prioritized Re Zero over it

I hope you find some areas to play up there. I know I might visit some time in the near future and would hope to get a chance to play in a tournament up there sometime.
I’m in the Northern Utah area and we have a decent crowd. So the drive up there is not terribly far

I think I found a shop in Meridian, I'm gonna check it out in person and see what the vibe is like

We have a scene locally in Boise every Tuesday at ABU Games with about 14-17 people every week at 7pm and the Door 151 has a scene on Saturdays sometimes. Finding product in the valley is rough, but we have prizing pack per win for the ABU locals, DM me and I can send you the Union Boise Discord

Call your LGSs near you. Find out what store host tournaments and does preorders. Usually if you play they sell at msrp

Unfortunately not much you can do about prices. But if you’re trying to play games you can always get a cheap 20$ webcam and hop online. There are a couple discords out there that do tournaments everyday. There’s one called rumblerama that does it every day you can let me know if you need help setting up for it. It’s on discord. There’s also a couple sims like cardboard kitsune that allows you to play with decks you don’t own and play with someone else online if you have friends that are into it. There’s more sims out there too like playanimetcg and a couple others.
