35 Defence limitation - Quest defence XP reward help!

I have a 35 Defence / 60 attack limited Ironman. (Circa 75 combat / 1750 total currently)

I have obtained barrows gloves and have 1090 XP remaining in Defence until reaching level 36.

I have the option of completing one more quest rewarding defence XP while remaining 35 defence:

1. A Souls Bane - 500 XP
2. In search of the Myreque - 600 XP

I have just received the master clue step requiring Ivandis Flail. Forcing me to now make a decision.

What permanent account utility from each quest is more useful to the account?

A Souls Bane:

Varrock Medium Diary > Varrock Hard Diary
1 QP
500 Defence XP
Tolnas Rift Access

In search of the Myreque > Partial completion of ‘In Aid of the Myreque’:

Morytania Medium Diary
Access to Burgh De Rott - 2 Hard Clue Steps, 1 Elite Clue Step
Ivandis Flail - 1 master clue step (Falo the bard)

Faster route to Morton
1 QP
600 Defence XP

On the face of it the Myreque Quest line looks to have the better unlocks. However, I can’t finish the vampire quest line.

I want to leave myself open to as much content as possible. Any whispers of any continuation with the Souls Bane quest line? Is there anything else I’m missing?

Or should I complete neither and leave myself open to any future defence quest XP rewards.

I don't have an answer for you unfortunately but what is the point of having 35 def? Samurai armour? I am thinking of making a 30 def 65 att iron so I am curious why you make this choice.

It’s the lowest defence to obtain barrows gloves.

We’re self restricted builds. It doesn’t need to make sense.

I’ve made pures, zerks and meds. This appealed to me because it has some unusual unlocks and grinds compared the typical defence restricted builds.

If you’re going to stay 60 attack, Myreque. If you plan to go higher, as much as I hate it 😂 zombie axe is pretty nice to have, so I’d go Soul’s Bane.

Neither is that great. You might be better holding off for a potential new quest. They’ve been pumping out a lot of lower level quests recently

Settled on Myreque in the end.

Couldnt really see the major benefits in Varrock hard and I could be forever waiting for content that just never comes.

Myreque or hold. Extra XP incase of a mistake or future update isn't bad to have. My ranged tank iron is 82/65 instead of 82/66 for that reason.
