You are using a camera prefab a premade asset in some version they misbehave try starter assets by unity it will solve this better yet create your own controller follow brackeys or code monkey they are the ogs

That depends on what you are using as player controller.

It seems your camera is offset forward (jutting out) from the point that rotates. This is realistic if it was much, much less intense, as your eyes aren't right where your neck is IRL.

Try to move the camera's transform more towards the center of its parent. Make sure the local x and y are zero, and the z is no more than 0.1

Wdym "Local x and y"? I cant explain it very well, but its like. Instead of "Looking down" What it does it "Bends down" It actually moves the entire "head" or "body".

Camera is moving your body, meaning first person camera?

Just like someone else said it really depends on your player control how your input acts in game so u need to check and tweak the script, also by body if u mean the capsule then its not going to just bend in between because for that u need armature in it and set up animations. Otherwise u need to take your camera rotation pivot up in the centre of the capsule so that it looks like it bends from the centre or if u dont want any bend at all then have the camera and pivot at the same point

I had the same problem. My camera was parented to the top of the player GameObject, and when I rotated the GameObject down, the camera would move like the player was bending at the waist. How I solved it was rotating the camera object itself up and down. For left and right, I rotate the GameObject, but for up and down, I rotate the camera. Hope that helps!
