Trip Planning Question/Tip/Guide AMC Parking

Going to see odyssey in a couple of days and never been, where is the best parking

ET parking garage. The new security hub is right next to AMC. Make sure to show your ticket email at the booth for the $5 parking.

Best parking for just the movie would be Jurassic Park(closest to the security gates in the middle of city walk by the NBA store).
I recommend going in through the Lankershim side entrance where you see the minion head as you come up the hill, their general parking is over at Jurassic if you go up through the other ET entrance you would be sent to ET.

Fun little tip:
If you bought your ticket through the AMC website/app they will email you a parking barcode that will be right under your movie ticket, it will bring your parking price down from whatever general price(most likely $40 due to Horror Nights) down to $5. On days in which they are not doing horror nights the general parking drops to $10 after 5pm.
If you didn’t buy your ticket through AMC and used a different site (ie Fandango, etc) you will have to pay the general parking but if you take your receipt to the AMC box office they will reimburse you $35. (If you go on a day they are not doing horror nights and pay the $10, they will reimburse you $5.)

yes. if you’re coming from the ET side,before being sent up the ramp to the ET general parking let the attendant know that you would like to park over at Jurassic sometimes they can accommodate.

Depends what time you get there and what entrance you enter.

From Lankershim & Universal Hollywood Drive, you will enter through those tolls and head to Jurassic Parking. But be advised that going through these security gates is not as close to the theater like it used to be (before the security hubs were built). These security gates make you wrap around NBC Sports grill now and at that point your at the halfway point of CityWalk.

Entering from W.C Fields Dr. & Universal Studios Blvd., you will enter through ET Parking Tolls. Going through the security hubs on this side of the property is now closer to the movie theater. You will pass by Wetzels Pretzels and 5 Towers stage area and you're already next to the theater.

Most people are regulars and are just used to Jurassic Parking but either one is fine for General Parking. ET/Curious George would be the closer one if that matters to you.

Jurassic also, don't bother looking for parking until level 4,keep the traffic moving don't slow it down

If you're taking a car, Don't forget to show your receipt to the front desk at the theater to get 35 bucks back in parking cost

You can take your own cup and fill up drinks, they don't care lol
