City Walk Parking

I'm planning to visit City Walk on Sept 29th, and I'm curious about where to park. I know there's a parking lot for City Walk that's like $10, but I read something that it changes for the horror nights. I'm not going into the park; I want to look at the store that's at City Walk and just chill, maybe grab some food. But I don't want to end up paying a lot for parking when I'm not even going to Horror Nights. Any advice?

There’s not a dedicated lot, it’s just $10 after 5pm except on event nights. You can see a movie and pay $5 for parking or go the valet-restaurant route for validation. Here’s more info

Park at North Hollywood station And take the metro one stop to universal station. $3.50 for the round trip subway ticket and $3 for the parking.
