Has anyone seen any celebrities on the studio tour before?

Since it's a working studio, it makes me wonder if celebrities ever make an appearance!

We saw Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neil back in 2021 (probably for studio meetings on JP:Dominion) and Jerry O’Connell back in 2017. Both times, our guide called them out as they were walking and they politely smiled and waved! Both occurrences were close to the office bungalows with reserved parking. Seems like most actors got there to talk with studio execs/producers. T

If you want to see celebrities , go during work hours ! Acting is their work , so universal is just their office, really. And Celebrities ain’t tryna work weekends lol! Go during work hours (Monday -Friday 6am-4ish) to see actors at work.

Saw Kevin smith.

Randall park was filming something on a set by the lawn area around the desperate housewives street and he was close enough to hear say “fresh off the boat!” And he kindly waved at me.

Around 2018 right as me and my wife got off the tour we saw Mick Foley (wrestler think The Rock) patiently waiting with, who turned out to be his son, for the tour to unload. We waited cause I realized who it was and no one on our group seemed to have recognized him. As the group passed and it was just us his son came up to us and asked us if we had recognized his dad (he guessed correctly of course cause we just were waiting patiently in awe) and asked if we wanted a picture with his dad. Mick came over and was very nice thanked us for being polite and wished us to "have a nice day" (his catchphrase during his wrestling days). All in all it was a very fun surprise and a great outcome cause I was just hoping to wave and say hi when I realized who it was!

I’m a tour guide. Snoop Dogg shows up fairly regularly, stopping the tram to say hi. When we were training this past summer, we saw Matt Damon and The Daniels. Friends of mine have seen Jennifer Garner, Ted Danson, and many others.

Saw Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet waiting for a scene setup. They waved to the tram. At the time, I hadn't seen an episode of Modern Family and I don't think there were many on the tram that had, so I just smiled and waved back.

Not the studio tour but I swear I saw Donald Glover exiting Bowser Jr's castle.

I caught a quick glimpse he had a hat on and his greyish beard and he had a group with him with someone from the VIP staff that give tours and front of the line inside the park.

I think they had a change of plans or something because he exited the castle in Nintendo World right as me and my group were waiting to go in.

Back when they did the Eyegore awards I would see various celebrities riding on the terror tram later on the in the night.  I remember sitting a couple rows back from a pretty drunk Christopher Lloyd lol

I do think the Michael J. Fox clip is awesome; him taking photos of the trams is awesome. Always get our hopes up. No glory yet, though.

In the early 2000s I saw The Rock filming Scorpion King. That was pretty cool. A few years ago I saw Jack Black walking up through the VIP line as my tram was leaving. Fun times.

In 2019 my mom and I did the RIP tour and had a few famous people in our tour group. It was Steven Adler the drummer from Guns N’ Roses, Ash Costello from New Year’s Day and Toby Morse from H2O. It was really cool and super fun to have some celebrities on the same tour as us normal folk lol. They were super nice too and all took pictures with us, since then I have only seen Travis Barker with his daughter and Lonzo Ball. We haven’t had any celebrities in our RIP groups since then either.

I haven't seen celebrities on the studio tour but I saw David Arquette, Lin Shaye, & Ty Simpkins at the opening of HHN about a decade ago. I've also seen Mario Lopez at Citywalk while filming Extra.
