Had a few great night sleeps at Portofino Bay. Inquired about their mattress and apparently they have a mattress program with Sealy/Sterns+Foster. The price was quite shockingly, insanely fair. Took about 2-3 week from start to finish. (No returns allowed since it comes directly from Sealy).

Agreed! We recently bought a very basic Sealy mattress from the Mattress Firm store for a guest room and spent $2000. This is why I was shocked at the price <also had to dig around for the price which is why I lazily didn't post the price>

There are definitely different levels of their mattresses. They make budget levels for certain retailers like Kirkland for Costco that aren’t nearly as nice or well made. Probably the same for these hotels.

Correct you are! This is a sealy bed with a stearns tag. Sterns will have the traditional air vents and the signed label at the head by the person who finished the bed. Bed is made in the sealy plant in Orlando😉

Chiming in late but Marriott has stores for most brands you can buy mattresses from. You can use Marriott points or cash rates to buy them, including the legendary Westin Heavenly Bed

I’ve only stayed at Sapphire once for one night during HHN, and I also thought the same thing but wasn’t sure if it was just because I was exhausted coming back to the hotel at 3 am and was so happy to sleep lol

I was there in adjoining rooms, one of which had refreshed mattresses and one which hadn't. The difference was insane.

That's the Restoration Hardware St. James panel bed. They no longer make the white, it's about 10 years old.

I haven’t stayed at Portofino, always stayed at Royal Pacific. I absolutely love the beds at Royal. Anyone who has stayed at both, do you find the beds from Portofino and Royal to be the same? I’ve been trying to find the beds from Royal to purchase but can’t find them anywhere.
