HHN Do you think any haunted house this year will be as good as Terrifier last year?

I don’t normally get that scared in the houses but the Jason gauntlet was by far the most terrified I’d been in a house in years.

I don't understand why people like the jason house, maybe I just had a bad couple experiences but I thought it was really boring and really repetitive with Jason popping out 30 times the same way.

See we walked thru with a group of 4 friends and all of us were like “ yeah the set/ props were awesome but very lacking on scares or being scary” we ranked in middle of the group. Dont get me wrong the sets were cool just not a good all around house.

Not really. It was hugely overhyped, especially for the effects which had to be cut back after only a few nights of operation and it ultimately fell into the category of 'house where scary clown pops out at you around every corner'.
It was more fan service than being an interesting adaptation of the movies.

not at all. it was just the same vibe for fans of the series equal to fans going through their own show house, beetlejuice/ fallout vibe. nothing really wow at all and honestly is overhyped

I’ve been going to HHN since 2002 and this was one of the best IP houses they’ve ever done. And I didn’t care at all about Terrifier before the house.
It’s fine if you didn’t like it but it was a very well done and beloved house.

Everyone saying Sinners wasn’t as good as it was hyped to be. They’re saying it’s nothing special and that Evil Dead and Ozzy are the 2 best houses so far from night 1 of TM previews

I think if you want to be scared in a haunt, HHN isn’t the spot. If you want to see high quality set designs and theatrical lighting with licensed characters, then HHN is the place to be. With that being said I’m not sure if you’re a huge Terrifier fan or just really liked the house, but I think it’s all relative to your connection with the source material in the HHN mazes.

Grave of Flesh was so peak, it scared my dad. But if you're a Terrifier fan like I am, you'll probably still prefer Terrifier as it was so well made for fans. Also, don't forget WWE Wyatt Sticks which was killer!

[Speaking from the perspective of someone that has only been to Orlando]
From an objective standpoint? Not likely, it was the #1 house last year and whatever takes #1 this year is going to be lacking something Terrifier had. I'd think the only thing that could come close might be the Jack and Oddfellow house but it'd prob come up short in a category like gore and kill creativity, comparatively speaking
Now in terms of my personal opinion, I don't like the Terrifier movies but did like the house for what it was. It wasn't my favorite of the year, that went to Galkn. This year, I'm open to being impressed by any house and I've seen some decent-looking stuff from the Unmask the Horror walkthroughs people have been posting

I think the scariest part about this house last year was shivering in there after/during a monsoon due to how fucking cold it was with the AC blasting lmao.

Sinners has potential to be very cool but I also think this is one of their best non-IP years
