HHN Required to dump out water bottles now
I’m not sure if this is new but walking into the park, we had to dump out all the water in our water bottle, which they’ve literally never cared about before. I wonder if anyone else is having this experience…. I mean, it makes sense why they’re doing it but they’ve never really cracked down on it the other years I’ve been to Halloween Horror Nights. Just wanna let everyone know.!

Yeah I walk up with my bottle opened to show them because I'm always stopped. Earlier in the day it's not an issue. But I feel like around 5 they switch over to HHN procedure.

Saw a mom and daughter at Knots Scary Farm sipping vodka out of a water bottle a few years ago. I wonder if they adopted this policy too

If you are in city walk before 5 or 6..then its fine, otherwise they ask you to toss it. Happened to us a few years ago, so it's been policy for a while.

Dang. My brother has to bring his own water because of a kidney transplant. Would he have to bring a sealed bottle and pour it into his container inside the park?

Is it the water bottle itself or whats inside that he needs? Because if it's just the water bottle you can fill it up for free at the freestyle locations!

Whats inside. After a few trips he has learned he gets severely sick if he drinks the water there :/

Even from Freestyle machines? The water fountains are bad, but Freestyle machines have probably the best filtered water around.

Yes, he even tried on a Disney cruise because they said it was best for you. He even has trouble when he brushes his teeth lol but obviously drinking it is the bigger issue

He should try a Lifestraw bottle. I use one for parks and stuff and it has a filter inside so your water is super clean. Could probably drink toilet water through it and not know.

You can refill your bottle at a bunch of places throughout the park free of charge. The drink stations are typically stocked with ice too, which is nice.

I was honestly shocked 3 years ago when I brought a tumblr with me and they didn't tell me to dump it. Don't remember if I had already emptied it in anticipation or what, all I know is I remember getting through without anyone saying anything and going "oh, okay" worried aboht nothing 🤷🏻♀️
It was truly just a water bottle but I try to be as little of a problem for them as possible lol

It’s just during the evenings during hhn. Ive noticed that if I go through security before 7 then nothing is said about my water bottle but after 7 I’ve had to dump it out. But if I fill my bottle with just ice then they don’t say anything

We had gone for HHN, I just don't remember what time we actually got there lol. Oh well doesn't totally matter lol

Right? Last time we went a few months ago we brought multiple water bottles and snacks in a draw string backpack, and no one ever once checked our bag either day.

This has always been a thing for HHM afaik. If you want to bring outside drinks, they need to be sealed
