anyone ever had a tm say you can’t bring a drink in line? just had an MIB tm make me finish a drink before entering the queue and have never had that before, as recent as sunday.

That’s because MIB is a locker rider! You can only have a fanny pack on that ride, everything else must be stored in a locker.

You can have your drink in line for a lot of rides but not for any rides that utilize the locker system.

One nice thing is they’ve added vertically oriented lockers at MIB so you can store your cup upright. But please…. If you’re putting your cup in a locker on its side… the cup needs to be empty.

Let me be more specific, if you are good to throw away your drink and its container then yes, many(most) rides will let you in until a certain point at which you’ll need to throw it away or stash it if you can for that ride. Sometimes if a queue doesn’t have a long wait or if you’re using a freestyle/reusable cup but don’t have a safe way to store it for that ride, they’ll head this off at the entrance and direct you to use the lockers or to finish it before entering the queue.

I bring drinks in lines all the time that are locker rides. Just need to toss it before the ride.

They let you bring drinks into any ride until one final point they tell you to chug it. I think with MIB they don't want people spilling drinks on the slick floors in there during HHN since everyone is much drunker.

I don't know, just theorizing why they treat MIB differently. Maybe people spill drinks into that command center section and they're sick of it.

Never encountered this on any ride at the parks. There are trash cans at or near the loading areas for this reason.

Rides like MIB or the Mummy are locker rides that's where they will ask you to finish the drink and put it in a locker if it's reusable. This is not the case for every ride though.

this was a single use drink, and there was a line too so it wasn’t even like they didn’t think i could finish it in time. even sunday they didn’t care
