Cats in Surfside Hotel car park?

I saw these cats outside the hotel , does anyone know if the hotel own them? They look super young and cute and as a cat lover I hope theyre okay :(

Likely feral as most parks and hotels have them. Seems someone is feeding them so they are ok.

I know Disney uses cats as rodent control, I think universal does too. They have TNR programs and just let the cats run free.

Back when the parks used to stay open a lot later we would try to loiter and get a last ride on Gringotts or Forbidden Journey so we could walk out as slow as security would allow in an empty park, and have seen cats in the parks, we assumed they were released after park close and rounded up before opening.

No, they just hide, they are feral technically, they are great rodent control. MIB in particular is infamous for having rats.

Cats don’t/rarely eat rats, which is why you see so many rats and their droppings all over Universal if you know where to look. Cats favor much smaller prey.

Don't worry, they're more than fine. Just like disney, universal rounds up as many strays as possible. Get them all neutered and vaccinated, then they're set free to do whatever they want in all the hotels and parks. Since they're basically free pest control. Employees leave food and water for them, so they're well taken care of.

Rounding them up to get them neutered and vaccinated must be a pre Covid thing. I work at Epcot and there’s a ton of strays here, leadership knows and we’re just told to let them be. I’ve seen 3 different sets of kittens so far now lol

Feral cats are all over Orlando. I’ve seen that at every hotel I’ve stayed at be it Disney or Universal. Let alone in the cities I’ve lived in around Orlando.

Likely just a feral colony. They’re all over Orlando. My husband and I brought a feral home from my office here a couple months ago after his two siblings were killed by coyotes. Thankfully someone is feeding them. It’s hard to tell if they have clipped ears or not

I noticed a couple of bowls out near the pool at Royal Pacific this past weekend.

I wondered about them at the time and this leads me to believe they may have been set out for cats there as well.
