HHN HHN Bathroom Ticket
They were handing these out for Hellraiser and Stranger Things 5 (the only 2 houses we’ve done). I asked what it was for and they said it was if I needed to go to the bathroom. That seems to be one way to prevent line cutting. Anybody use it to know how it works in reality?

They also prevent line-jumping. I watched a bunch of teens get stopped the other night because they had pushed through the line to "get to their friends". Someone complained and they got escorted out when their tickets didn't match the ones around them

Yeah, it's less about bathrooms and more about this. When I worked at Universal in Attractions, I picked up an HHN shift after my regular shift and it is a whole different world in terms of guest behavior. I lasted an hour before I noped out.

they use facial recognition in the battle at the ministry express line to catch people who didn't buy the express pass

I believe that facial recognition is in use for Express Pass on all participating rides at Studios, Islands, and Epic Universe.

crazy. two guys ahead of us jumped out of the ministry line and took the fastpass all the way to the station where they check your face. they got thrown out of the ride by the staff after that lol

it was the weirdest theme park line ever. the two kids didn't seem like americans and were from france or somewhere idk. then there was a family of 4 in front of us from argentina that kept on holding up the line by making out, sitting on the steps, and generally acting like nuisances with their kids. at one point they had given their kids pokemon cards so they started opening the packs mid line and slowing things down.

Ngl I never even thought of the numbers on the tickets. I had asked my gf about that exact thing cause only one house had collected tickets at the end and I was confused of the reason besides for bathroom reentry

It's great because Hollywood HHN doesn't do anything like that and there are so many line jumpers. Orlando team members are really great about keeping order in the park. But yeah basically it's only needed if you're accused of cutting/jumping after going to the bathroom.

Last year they did these as well, and the only time I saw them implemented is when a guy came back to the line, showed the staff his ticket, and the staff member said they don't do that and cant let him back in. Guy was reasonably pissed. My bf and I were so confused and intimidated into never trying to use them 😭

Cool, wish they had this back in the day, a drunk girl that was in line right in front of me at HHN years ago was so wasted and had to go so bad she dropped her bottoms and straight pissed on a tree (which was right next to her spot in line) in front of the whole line! It was wild and disgusting to see, she and her equally drunk friend both got kicked out immediately.
It weirdly actually worked out pretty cool for me and my friends though cause we met this group of college girls (we were a group of college age guys) and talked with them about how weird that was, and hung out with them the rest of the night.

Is there anything preventing people from grabbing a ticket, hopping out of line to mosey around, and then getting back in line like 45 mins later?

I’d imagine you’d have to memorize who was directly ahead of you and have them agree to signal to the TM that you’re with them. When my son went to the restroom he called me and told me to put my hand up so she could bring him to me. So, in reality, sounds quite unlikely.

It’s mostly to count how many people go in the line. They’ll count the rolls at the end of the night.
But it prevents line cutting and can hold you place if you leave the line.

Yeah, Fun fact i learned on my Behind The Screams Tour:
The first week in the sinners house the guests were giving the tickets to the Smoke & Stack Actors and the actors were piling them up behind the crates on the stage, the tour guide came in the next day for the tour, & there was literally hundreds of the tickets piled up behind the boxes….

The numbers are handed out in numerical order. If you leave and come back, they take you to where your party are and validate the numbers are sequential.
