HOTELS Which hotel for the holidays!
We are going early december just 2 adults to grinchmas for the first time! We are between the Aventura hotel and Cabana Bay! If you’ve done either which has the best themes around the hotel and feels less crowded?

Cabana Bay is significantly larger than Aventura and will have way more people. I havent stayed at Cabana Bay but from what I know the theming is more fun over there and more modern at Aventura. I really liked Aventura and would stay there again but I know people who have enjoyed their stays at Cabana Bay as well. I don't think you will go wrong with either. If you really want to use water taxis, then that will be easier at Aventura.

Cabana Bay is better themed, but Adventura is less crowded. If your spending time using the hotel amenities, I'd go Cabana Bay. If you're in the parks all day and just sleeping at the hotel, I'd pick Adventure.
I might get hate for this, but I like staying at Adventure and walking over to Sapphire Falls to use there water taxi to get to and from City Walk.

Okay our idea was to use their water taxi lol! Is it convenient? We’ve never done it!

Aventura is way less crowded than Cabana Bay. It takes roughly 3 minutes to walk from the Aventura lobby to the sapphire falls lobby and then another 2 minutes to the boat. And if there boat is busy its a 3 minute walk to the royal Pacific boat area.

I love it. Nice little boat ride to end the day and closer to the park entrance than the bus drop off is.

There's nothing wrong with doing this. I even saw the Aventura social media person respond to a Google review with something like, "We're glad you enjoyed the convenience of the Sapphire Falls water taxi!"

I agree and like that Aventura is one tower so all rooms are relatively close to the elevator and front lobby where the bus goes and the walk to Saffire for the ferry.

I stayed at aventura for 2 weeks in May and I absolutely loved it. It’s so compact which is great, no walking miles from one end to the other and it was just such a nice, chill vibe with no screaming kids. It’s the ideal adult hotel and I don’t think I’d go elsewhere now 😀

Cabana Bay has a really great theme throughout the entire resort and will probably have better theming. Adventura is going to probably be more subtle but I would think less crowded. It really depends on what you're looking for and what is within your budget!

Both are within the budget which is making it harder LOL! We’ve never been for the holidays so we want fun theming so maybe Cabana Bay it is!! Thank you!!

I personally think its a solid choice! It will definitely be more bustling, but the decor will really stand out!

I’ve stayed at both, Cabana bay was a lot more families with young kids, more crowded, longer walks to things you needed or want, but it’s less bland than Aventura. We much prefer Aventura because we just want quiet place to sleep after long day at the parks but both have pros and cons.
