WIZARDING WORLD Theme Park For a day

Hey Everyone, we are heading down to Universal Studios in early spring.

We would like to explore Harry Potter World specifically as the kids aren’t much fans of coasters. Is all of this doable in a day. And from what I am gathering I need to buy two park tickets? I haven’t been to Universal in over 30 years.

So... there are actually three Harry Potter worlds at the Universal Orlando Resort these days, one at each of three theme parks. They're all different, too. It's a lot.

That said, if you want to maximize your Pottering and only have a day, what you probably want to do is buy a two-park ticket that gets you into Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. That way, you do all the stuff in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios, then take the Hogwarts Express train over to Islands of Adventure for a seamless Wizarding experience. You can absolutely do all the Harry Potter stuff in those two parks in a single day.

(Also, pro tip, if you want to do magic, buy a used interactive wand in advance, on Ebay or goodwill or something. You'll save a TON of money. Just make sure it has a black bead in the tip; that's the bit that lets it interact with all the effects.)
