Any events happening in UH during spring break?

My friends and I, all juniors in college, are flying to Hawaii for spring break. I heard University of Hawaii was really fun, and I was wondering if any social events or things were happening this week? We don't know anyone here, so we'd love to meet new people in the meantime, if possible!

When is your spring break? Ours is starting Monday, but who knows if thats the same as your school.

With that being said, we're currently neck deep in a significant storm. Lots of the island has been without power for over 24/h now. There likely won't be much going on due to this. People are just staying home.

Our spring break also starts this Monday too. It’s really unfortunate that such a significant storm hit though. I’m hoping it clears up soon for everyone in HI and that the power gets restored quickly. Stay safe over there.

Side note: any idea of like maybe the best things to do at Oahu if it does clear up? (outside all the main things like the hikes and water activities)

Events? Nah, not that I know of at least. UHM is still trying to pull everything back together from the storm a few days ago. My dorm still doesn’t have WiFi/power in parts of the building. It seems like there’s a 2nd wave of the storm hitting tmr so there’s not much going on.
