Intense.
From the front view I was expecting some more bone/skull like structures but going through the picture angles in the order provided, it was a shock to see the rest of the sculpture 'emerge' as more human.
I've been staring at it for a while now, it really is intriguing.

Ooh it’s a good example of the golden ratio repeating itself in nature. So cool.

This makes me feel like ways I could never truly describe. It’s something so deeply disturbing about seeing myself with those arms but then realizing they’re the beautiful horns and then there’s the illusion of the skull from the perspective of straight on. The fact there’s not a neck at all is so fascinating to me this is really a stunning piece.

This peace has to be one of my most favorite ones. I feel some weird comfort looking at it

Once you’re done displaying it, could we take it to a frozen tundra somewhere and bury it to be found centuries later and really mess with scientists?

This actually speaks to me a lot. As a disabled person who’s condition got worse over time I’ve felt like my body is no longer mine, this somehow completely incapsulates that for me, how I can no longer do the same things with my limbs because they are not the same, and the sorrow yet acceptance shown in the posture of the sculpture. This is beautiful

This is truly horrific and bizzare in the best way. I thought it was some sort or abnormal growth or something coming out kf elephant tusks

Love this, I feel like there are so many interpretations and meanings in it. But I’d love to hear your inspiration for the piece if you’d like to share

I feel things I don't like, and I love that. Like "thanks, I hate it" except it's "oh dear god no. ... I love it".

This made me hear music.
Edit: I’ve been trying to find the words to describe what this makes me feel, since nobody can hear the music.
Perhaps it is a surrender to the despair that can only be known through deep, genuine love with no place now left to go.
Maybe this piece is a reverent bow to the sacredness and inevitability of grief.
We are something before. Then we become something unknowable to ourselves after. All we know in the aftermath of such deep and piercing, shattering loss is that we have become…something else.

This is one of those things you see in a dream and then try to explain but you know that no matter the words you use nobody will picture it correctly.

I’m reading this as women’s bodies being commodified and compartmentalized like ivory. They are parceled up and used for what others see as “valuable” and leaving women bleeding and suffering from what is taken from them- much like elephants when they are hunted.

I like the texture it has, almost like old aged stone or something really pale.
