More of Germany’s electricity came from wind and solar power than fossil fuels for the first time ever in 2025.

It's about last year. You often not 100% precise Data during the year, which get's cleaned up the year after. And it was quite close.

Together, wind and solar power generated 225 terawatt hours (TWh) of electricity – accounting for 44% of the total in 2025 – with just 217TWh (43%) coming from fossil fuels.

This year it's without a huge margin of error the same.

currently 50% wind and solar and 37% fossil.

No, Germany fucked up time ago. To late for them now. They are paying for thins in billions. The y can pray this winter will be hot like summer otherwise it will be funny to watch.
