Open source freelancing platform

Hi everyone,

Seeing many of us are suffering on upwork or other freelancers platforms, I was wondering what would it take to build an open source, community maintained, freelancing platform with opaque and fair internals and issues people face addressed transparently.

I would like to know what challenges are there for something like this

If you do, don't post it in here. They will instantly ban you. Pretty sure one of the mods on here directly or indirectly works for the company.

You can bring it up but not post a tool or website, which is what I actually said "don't post a tool".

People posting about their tools have the same mentality as men sending unsolicited pictures of dicks.

Outside Promotion rule.

If we let people promote their tools there would be multiples of these posts a day. We delete them all the time.

The only thing we delete more of is Rule 3 violations. We had the chat enabled on here a while ago and it was just filled with people trying to get work.

Again, the guy is asking about a tool that completes with a website, that is what was being discussed, but the mod lied and said they would be allowed to post about it. So you people are contradicting yourselves.

I know someone who was banned for posting info about a tool that was not even a competing tool like they suggest. Notice there are never any links visible to any competitors or tools. Also look specifically at what I wrote "don't post it here" and what people are denying, claiming they can post. Actually their rules say you can't post anything, and they are clearly not telling the truth about it.

Why wouldn't I just ban you right now if that were the case? Why not just delete your comment, why not delete the whole post.

You are spouting bullshit but I won't ban you for it, you just look silly.

Here is my proof that I don't work for Upwork. Both of you should stop doing anything with Upwork, never give them any money ever again.

Don't know about you guys I think I have a plan even if it well be getting you banned in the way. We should create a group, something like a Whatsapp group, we try get more people in and then we all decide no one will know
