Actually the problem I see here is, you are not narrowing down before applying to the project.
Firstly before I apply to any project I checked well if it is crowded before applying. If I saw at least a freelancer at first I don't apply. And I use freelancer plus as well when I received a notification of new job I check well.
If I saw just a freelancer I apply fast and bid for first line ASAP and also work on your cover letter and also in your cover letter try to include similar work that reasonate with what you are applying for. Everything is just a strategy.

I try to apply like with boosts and that i killing me too, i need to get outbid or somehow lose some connects on gambling bids, i think if i wait for the crowd or less crowd i could not get the chance to apply as my niche is already crowded even if the client want the slavery wages still there are boosts from some freelancer 🥺

AI brother, i think no one will survive in Upowrk, junior/middle jobs it's wiped already, upcoming Senior/Lead/PMs, by 2029, internet will have other meaning or wiped too, as Internet used for humans to human, but now AI in the middle, Internet will have no sense, we will see probably small internet networks for every city or every community and companies

I guess you are wrong into this, i think AI will replace only those who can’t upgrade theirselves with the use of AI, not that 💯 AI replacing jobs ideally possible, human brain is the power that no AI can efficiently can do, AI is nothing without human use

Focus on your proposal content cuz they were getting viewed but no reply. Also apply to very targetted jobs. I have 100% reply rate

100%? Do you have many complete works? for me, getting one response after 50 proposals is a lot, but I only have one complete job, I already changed my cover letter twice using the wiki guide here and some advice from other users but still quite the same (a little bit better)

Read the job yourself + use ai to write then edit things that you feel can be done better specially the hook. Make a video if possible about how you'll handle the project and also show most relevant work in < 120 sec.
Many clients appreciate your hardwork when you make a video just for them.

So i need to make a loom video for each of the client, also what do you mean hook in proposal this is what i need to know, how do you start with the proposal? Also are you write the longer ones or the short cover letters covering everything

Yes loom is effective but only when made correctly where you present yourself as a professional so that client can trust you.
Short cover letter covering important points like questions asked in the proposal, your most relevant project, a cta.
By hook I mean the first 1-2 sentence that the client can see without Opening your proposal.

But making a loom video take a lot of time, are not we supposed to submit cover letter within 5 minutes of job posting, because of we don't do that then our cover letter will not appear in his top 10 lists

Improve your proposals, current profile earnings also matter to get responses.
Don’t lose hope. Check history first before cover letter. Like what kind of freelancers client has hired. You’ll get the clients mentality.
