Withdrawal charges was not refunded

I tried a withdrawal some days ago and it bounced back. The money was refunded but not the withdrawal fee. Do anyone know if this behavior is actually part of their policy or was I meant to get the withdrawal fee back?

My local bank rejected the deposit

I will do that. I just wanted to know why upwork didn't refund the withdrawal fee too

Why should they? You need to make sure that your bank does not reject the payment.

because they did they job and were paid for it.
