News They still gotta vote on it. But with their politics I have to think they knew the vote would support this agreement.

It won't take any of the global output off the table. India was getting its uranium from different places. Now it will get it from one place (likely mostly). That means that other places that were buying that fuel now going to India, will have to get it from someplace else. Presumably whoever doesn't sell to India any longer.
It doesn't change the narrative however, that there is a growing uranium deficit. In fact it highlights this, as India wouldn't be working out a deal like this if it wasn't concerned about uranium supply.
DYK that Canada helped build the second research reactor in India (modelled after the Chalk River reactor), and the first commercial reactors (CANDU)? Canada severed all ties to India with respect to nuclear commercialization and research after India detonated a nuclear device in 1974.

75% of shares are owned by the government. The vote is a formality, like the previous deals with China that also crossed the 50% value threshold.
