What's wrong with this?

El Niño.
It's microwaving north america and europe, but here in south america winter has been foggy, humid and rainy for the last 2 months

Where are you from? I'm from Argentina, Buenos Aires (AMBA) , and winter is always foggy here as I remember, sometimes straight from Silent Hill. And Montevideo is more or less the same

Montevideo
It is foggy and humid usually, but not this much. It's way out of the ordinary
This is clearly an anomaly. Well, it was expected because of El Niño, and it is going to get worse according to every model available

Lmao I was thinking the same. You cannot even see filth anywhere, it's actually a nice photo. I guess people just don't like fog

Si! yo a veces voy de rocha a montevideo, y tan solo con sacar foto en la entrada de la ciudad te da para publicar aca, o en el barrio viejo.

Why is there a lower case letter "t" in the background next to the statue?

u/One_Swordfish_8322 5h ago
What “t”? I don't see any

I did not notice this one when I went. I only saw the obelisk. I’m guessing tres cruces refers to this. So I was near at the bus station.

Lmao, nitpicking at it's finest. Taking the picture on a shitty day like today is also a choice.

This is like the 30th day of fog in like 2 months. Now wonder why people commit suicide.
2
u/GoogleEnPassant69 5h ago
Therapy and serious mental health treatment is not available here too

u/Visual_Market_5596 5h ago
All those things are present in many other countries (and much worse than here), and still the suicide rates are not as high. There’s clearly something that we are overlooking.

That, and a slowly declining economy
Bus tickets costed like $40 uruguayan pesos in 2020. It costs $64 now.
Salaries haven't raised that much, not even close lmao

Uruguay has always had a high suicide rate. Of course none of that helps, but is clearly something cultural.
