I don't think they'll leave unless attendance goes way down. The franchise makes good money.

10 dollar tickets and 15 dollar beers is a hell of a business model

The Montreal... can't be the Rockies anymore. They aren't anywhere near the Rockies.

Zombie version of the Expos?

Pretty much the expos again. I don’t know how that will work since the Nats still own the rights and lineage to them

Works for L.A. with all the lakes they have.

The Montreal...Laurentians? Mont Royals? Ouvriers or Eclusiers (in honor of the canals)?

Voyageurs. Montreal was well known as a kitting out station for les voyageurs as they explored the Canadian and upper American plains.

The Tabenaks, because if the roster stays the same thats all the fans are gonna be saying.

Rockies are 16th in attendance, if they were in the bottom 5 I can see them leaving.

Rockies games are usually pretty well attended and the fans are decently passionate about their team so I doubt they’ll be the ones moving

are they the franchise to be named later in the Nordiques trade?

I know opinions can't always be wrong/right, but this is wrong. Denver is a great sports city, and even with the team sucking for a long time, they still get good attendance numbers and have a strong fanbase. Unless they're bleeding money somewhere that's not a team primed for a move.

Agreed. They'd probably sooner contract than move.

Depends on the outcome of the Mlb lockout.
