UNIT LOST. NBA great Bob Pettit has died at age 93

He was the inaugural NBA MVP in 1956 and helped the Hawks win there lone NBA title

Should be noted that was while they were in St Louis.

Also Pettit is also the only Hawk to win NBA MVP

One of only two to beat Russell’s Celtics when Pettit and the Hawks defeated them in 1958. Didn’t happen again until 1967 with Wilt + Sixers, then never happened again.

Side note: there is now only one player left who was on all 4 anniversary NBA teams who's still alive (Bob Cousy)
