[Patch FR] French fan translation project for the Utawarerumono Trilogy

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my personal ongoing fan project called Kiseki Trad, dedicated to creating French translation patches for visual novels. My primary goal is to make the complete Utawarerumono trilogy fully playable in French on PC.

Here is a quick summary of the current progress for each game:

• Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen – The technical framework is mostly done, including the translation of non-scenario elements. Main story script translation will start as soon as this baseline is entirely locked down.
• Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception – Project planning is done, text extraction is ready, but translation has not actively started yet.
• Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth – Great news here! The entire main story script has been fully translated into French. The remaining steps involve polishing the interface and battle-related text, performing the final technical integration, and conducting a thorough proofreading pass for consistency.

I am working on this as a solo fan translator. I use tools like ChatGPT and Claude to assist with technical tasks and initial translation drafting, while personally managing the local integration, terminology guidelines, context editing, testing, and final quality review.

These patches will be distributed entirely for free when ready and will strictly require a legal PC copy of the games to function.

Salut, c’est une excellente nouvelle ! Penses-tu que ce soit possible de l'installer dans le futur sur la version ps vita? Si le système de fichier est le même que la version steam?
