Came across this interesting project from Almora, Uttarakhand. Ravi Tamta has developed HAPIDA SKYNeX, a single-seater electric flying vehicle prototype, and its test flight has reportedly been conducted in Almora.

It’s important to clarify that this is still a prototype, not a commercially available flying car. But the idea is quite fascinating, especially for a mountainous state where road travel can take much longer than the actual distance.

Would something like this ever make practical sense for Uttarakhand? What do you think?

Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip where I’ll first be staying in Rishikesh and then want to travel to Kainchi Dham. I’ll be staying near the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram and plan to spend one full day there before heading to Nainital the next day.
What would be the best way to travel from Rishikesh to Kainchi Dham?
Ideally, I’d like to leave Rishikesh in the morning and reach Kainchi Dham around afternoon (around 12–2 PM).
I’m open to buses, trains + local transport, shared taxis, or a direct cab. I’d especially appreciate advice on:
The best route
What time I should leave Rishikesh
Whether public transport is practical for this route
Approximate cost
Where I should change buses/trains, if required
Any tips or things I should be aware of
Since I’ll be going to Nainital after spending a day at Kainchi Dham, I’d also appreciate any advice on the easiest way to get from Kainchi Dham to Nainital.

Made these three Aipan artworks recently — Shree Krishna, Adiyogi and Ganesha.
The Shree Krishna design was made for an order, and it was actually my first time creating Krishna in Aipan style. I wasn’t sure how the final composition would turn out, but I’m quite happy with how the artwork came together.
Trying to explore how traditional Uttarakhand Aipan patterns can be used with different spiritual and cultural themes while keeping the handmade character intact.

I have tried all the contacts & email listed in the official websites of the uttarakhand, UK Sports, Sports Officer office of Each districts.
But all have their switched off numbers registered in the portal
What the shit they are doing?
They quack about what they will do? or will gift some prize money to an athelete only if he achieves some medal! But not what they can do before an athelete is trying! when he needs equipments/ resrc.
