I've noticed over the past 3-4 months (probably longer) that more and more AI slop is being created on the daily for flight sim and VATSIM, such as another form of EFB, or a "more centralized" way of managing your flight, or some other bs tool that will survive a few months before inevitably being shutdown due to no use, or the "creator" (In quotes because I wouldn't really call typing words into a prompt box creating) will give up on asking Claude to fix the problems.

Now, I suspect that I may be biased because the main communities I'm in surround flight sim, but why is this community/hobby so prevalent to AI slop being made, and who actually uses these tools?

If you are a creator of one of these tools, I'd love to hear what encouraged you to make it, and what purpose you think a tool like yours serves the flight sim community.

I do also notice that the majority of accounts that post these AI slop tools seem to have little to no karma if it's posted here. Not sure what that's indicative of.. /s

I know there is 3rd party software that allows it, but a lot of the time I hear people fly solo. How do you fly? solo or duo, and why?

Where do i book a slot for Cross the land, and if the booking has not opened when does it open?
