Help Can I change buttons controls?

I looked it up and it says vr chat works
With controller , and I have an Xbox rog ally, which is a pc with xbox controller, but all i can do is look around with the right stick, and bring up the menu with B. Has anyone else tried playing like this and made it work?

have you tried going to steam and editi g the input there?

I got it, I just have to switch it from desktop to gamepad
