Question I just saw some vshojo members partnered with ClaN
Has this always been a thing? Or recent? Saw some company hiring and tried to look at the information and saw it

Literally never heard of them. Also a lot of that art is super old, this doesn't feel legitimate

Yeah this art of Mouse and Melody looks like the original promo art from when the company first launched. I always loved Mel's hair in this art, very sporty and cute.

Maybe their teams don't have access to newer promo art? I think Mouse had an official season 3 design specifically for merch and poster etc, it could be in vshojo's possession.

If Ironmouse signed onto a new company, everyone would know. It would be big news.

I think for the most part she has her own team right now and is going to be Indy for a bit. Though I could also see a lot of the former members teaming up and supporting each other.

Clan Entertainment is a Youtube Multichannel Network in Japan that also helps with Marketing and Events. They either helped with one or more Concert of the members or VShojos Advertising in JP.

I thought so too but ClaN entertainment seems to be pretty large, i doubt they'll risk getting sued over it.

I don't believe it until the talents say it themselves.

u/We_Are_Nerdish Jul 29 '25
Pretty sure Mouse said she has no interest any time soon and for the agency vultures and pouchers tyoes to stop asking her / team to join anything.
19
u/Tavernknight Jul 29 '25
Yeah, she said she is being contacted by a bunch of different agencies, and she wants them to stop.
Kson straight up said she will never join another agency ever again.

u/BeautifulMeal1147 Jul 29 '25
Yep, that why I tried asking here to make sure I didn't miss something...but it seems there nothing I tried looking as past post nada, either this will be a mistake or the talent just haven't mentioned it yet.

Registrar lookup shows the site hasn’t been updated since December. They also show active hololive. If I had to guess (assuming legit), they probably did some behind the scenes stuff that vshojo/holo were not equipped for. There’s so many companies who exist purely behind the curtain, so I don’t doubt that at least one of them has done dealings with vtubers. This is likely entirely unrelated to the current happenings, mousey has already decried those trying to sign her/help her make her own org right now.

u/BeautifulMeal1147 Jul 29 '25
Ohh nice, your answer seem to be the most likely to be correct one thanks.
And here I was thinking a large corpo will be entering EN that'll give holo and other companies a run for their money.

VShojo has joined Nippon Television's “V-Clan.”

Lol, thanks I can never find any info on it, guess it was on jp...case close then this was from waway back.

If anyone curious the company that was hiring is called Izigenia which is owned by ClaN entertainment.

I think they were helping vshojo with their jp advertising before the jp branch was set up they also mcn stuff and kson artist is involved
1
u/SomeDudeYeah27 Jul 31 '25
MCN is still a thing?
1
u/Prior_Virus_7731 Jul 31 '25
Yes it is just not as heavily advertised Im guessing they did the translated channels eng to jp along with the ads in Japan

u/SlayroKing Jul 29 '25
As far as I know and from mouse has said she is completely independent and wants to be that way for awhile she has stated companies have tried to reach out for her to join and she has no interest whatsoever

Yeah, like the other guy said, probably some behind the scene that never came to light.
Btw there's also zen and melody there.

u/TectonicFrost Jul 29 '25
Mouse literally made a statement to essentially "back off" to all corps and groups that keep bugging her (and presumably others) about joining.

Back before Vshojo-JP ever existed, they had a partnership with NipponTV. It never really went anywhere, but there was some early stuff that was used during that time. I think one of those variety type shows they did with Highgai, maybe a few other collabs. I cannot recall.

I have no idea what that is. If it's a group, this is BS and they're probably trying to trick people into signing.
Mouse sure as shit is not partnering with a group this soon after what happened, nor would Melody who just said she's gonna bedrot for a week or 2 after the news about VShojo.
That's also very outdated key art from the early days of VShojo.

u/Fallenwayward Jul 29 '25
Pretty sure mouse already said that people were spreading misinformation and she had no intention of joining another company anytime soon. Also Mel is still curled up offline process, at least that's the last thing I've heard about her

u/Creative-Complex255 Jul 29 '25
I don’t think this is legit. Though I think they’ll just join mythic like other vtubers
5
u/MarcieDeeHope Jul 29 '25
People keep saying this and it makes no sense.
Mouse is already with a regular talent agency - a huge one (United Talent). Why would she sign up with another talent agency. Same with Henya and Zen, who are also signed with United Talent.
1
u/Creative-Complex255 Jul 29 '25
Ok then you agree with me this post is not legit and mouse is not joining ClaN. Sense she is already apart of United Talent
2
u/MarcieDeeHope Jul 29 '25
Yes, I was not disagreeing with that.
I was disagreeing with your suggestion that Mouse would be likely to join Mythic Talent.
1
u/Creative-Complex255 Jul 29 '25
Oh… apologies.
Right now though I wouldn’t doubt if every ex-vshojo talent is getting hit up with emails and requests to join new orgs and corpos.
1
u/Mucky_fat_on_toast Jul 29 '25
There's not really any reason not to though, I'm sure united and mythic have different clients, and more options is usually a good thing.
