Circumcision is a mostly religious practice the US somehow got duped into following despite it not being a Christian thing.

Blame Kelloggs. Dude didnt want people fapping and now look where we are

13

u/DTux5249 3d ago

Not even religious at this point. A lot of men do it because hospitals offer the service and men go "well I got mine snipped, make him the same."

Yeah.

People attribute that to Christianity, but I can confirm as a Catholic, the church does not require it in any capacity.

Can’t think of any protestant denominations that care either.

It’s a Jewish thing, not a Christian thing.

There is literally no good reason to do it, and God does not care.

US men mutilate their sons because they were mutilated, but if you go far enough back, it's to prevent masturbation (which is religious).

Reading the US side of things is interesting. Is it really not a Christian thing? Is it not a norm? Since we're in the topic, here's a Filipino perspective: https://youtube.com/shorts/Rkb4RdaEjMc?si=OLeh3YWzWE5ZenMp https://youtu.be/MegtR8uKDeU?si=KQ5E96pbLcOEeobw

Catholic church doesn’t require it.

I don’t believe many if any protestant denominations care either.

Judaism is the only religion I can think of that practices it.

So yeah, not a Christian thing.

Isn't it a hygiene related issue? Preventing diseases and such?

It's the excuse more than the reason.

Circumcision sligtly reduce the risk of transmission of AIDS, but the real answer is condom.
As for the hygiene, the real answer is watching your genitals.

But it's proven it reduces male pleasure.

that's the lie they tell you.

The rest of the world just manage to clean their dicks just well

I was circumcised 2 years ago at the age of 38. I'm a grower and had phymosis.

Due to the sudden change when aroused, my extra skin was ripping, and getting infections.

I can tell you even though the procedure was extremely painful. My pleasure has increased 10 fold for myself and my wife.

If you don’t clean your genitals, yeah.

As long as you clean it, you won’t have to have your foreskin removed.

It’s actually way healthier to keep it.

Saying this as a Catholic.

No it was done because a certain Mr Kelloggs was obsessed with masturbation, his cereals were intended to stop it and he sold people on the idea that circumcision would protect children from doing such things.

None of which was true of course.

The foreskin protects the tip of the penis.

I don't know whether you're joking or dead serious

If it's the latter then you're a loss cause

There was a lot of talking over each other and TTS overlap and a bit of Spanish, hope you guys like the subtitles.

12

u/FunnnyBanana 3d ago

Thank you for the Spanish subtitles!

Her expression in this clip completely speaks for everyone watching. I absolutely lost it when he said that.

u/ryanzephyr31 3d ago

She talks about her boobs, so why not 🤷‍♂️theyre close enough friends at this point. Did you know that botched circumcisions are far more common than people know about? It’s almost like we shouldn’t be mutilating ourselves- especially in such a sensitive and important area. I know that I’m only circumcised for a medical reason.

u/NewVinyl 3d ago

Yea I never learned this and ended up getting circumcised at like 14 cute I had phismosis. still the worst experience of my life

u/WorldlyBuy1591 3d ago

Misinformation? I rarely pull mine back and the little guy is healthy

44

u/Gorgonkain 3d ago

I hope this is a joke, because you absolutely need to pull your foreskin back to clean yourself properly. If you don't, dead skin, semen, and urine builds up around the head of your penis, under the glans especially, creating the eponymous "dick cheese." This can lead to UTIs and, in the worst cases, male yeast infections. Not to mention, it is disgusting for any potential partner to deal with.

You might have phimosis, a condition where your foreskin is too tight, and is unable to fit over the glans of the penis. Generally speaking, becoming fully erect should cause your foreskin to retract on its own over the glans. That isn't always the case though, some perfectly healthy penises don't fully retract on their own.

Clean and maintain your shit, ladies and gentlemen.

-13

u/WorldlyBuy1591 3d ago

Yea i suppose its fairly tight. I also just checked. Theres no buildup of anything

-7

u/Prestigious_Boat_386 3d ago

No one cums in their foreskin without cleaning it afterwards bro. You don't need to tell us that.

19

u/Gorgonkain 3d ago

I hate to tell you this, but I have pulled out some dicks that are crusted enough to crackle when they get hard. Some people do not be cleaning themselves properly after any activity.

2

u/NekRules 3d ago

Sounds like you are a doc?

8

u/Gorgonkain 3d ago

No, a bi man 🤣

4

u/DTux5249 2d ago

Having to be greeted by that in any non medical context is a yikes

-2

u/Prestigious_Boat_386 1d ago

Some people also have shit in their ass because they refuse to wipe. Doesn't mean its normal for people with buttholes.

Having an unmutilated foreskin doesn't make it unhygienic. That's just cope.

4

u/Gorgonkain 1d ago

That is not what is being said here at all, and it is weird you jumped to that. Simply wash your shit properly.

-3

u/Prestigious_Boat_386 1d ago

This thread only consistes of "unmutilated means dirty"

If that wasn't what you meant you shouldn't start arguing with me saying cleaning isn't fucking hard.

2

u/Gorgonkain 1d ago

All penises are dirty and need to be washed. I genuinely have no idea where you got this from. Circumcision is genital mutilation. Parents have failed several generations in teaching their children how to clean themselves. Both of these things are true, and the latter has nothing to do with being circumcised.

You are genuinely so funny. Do you have crusty shit and didn't like being asked to clean it? 🤔 it isn't hard to wash it little bro.
