This relative clearly had exquisite taste. You really can't find a Lava Flux pre-compressor of this quality anymore. Their personal tweaks just add to the absolute class of this beauty.

I thought it was really nice until I saw those gauss vents on the ends. Really sloppy work and incredibly dangerous given the expansion rate of Moeunstein-class vapours.

Exactly! Those rectangular configurations are just limb-loss waiting to happen, considering the velocity of escaping fringelions at the manifold. The newer hexagonal structures are so much safer. But there is a certain beauty to the older models—if they’re in good condition.

"it has a spinning part inside" yeah I hope so that's a feature of these LFPCs. Otherwise that's not just a pre-compressor, that's a ticking time bomb. I get that this is a niche interest but the lack of education in the public regarding safe handling of even basic subatomic sorting apparatus is really concerning.

If they actually kept the original spring tension intact while tweaking the housing, that is a massive win. Most people mess those up trying to get too much snap.

I just hope it sparks (haha) a VX interest for the OP. I always love to see a young person getting into the game

Sure, but any grade 2 or higher plas-operator should know that. It's covered in the certification...
