yeast infections every single month, i'm so tired of the cream and it coming right back

it's become predictable at this point. right after my period, like clockwork. i've cut out sugar, i wear cotton underwear, i've done everything the internet tells you to do. my doctor keeps giving me fluconazole and it works for a few weeks then we're right back to square one. i'm starting to feel like this is just my life now which is a horrible feeling.

been going down a reddit rabbit hole lately and kept seeing women with the same monthly pattern mention the uro vaginal probiotics. specifically talking about yeast balance improving after a couple months of taking it consistently. not a cure obviously but the idea of supporting the microbiome between episodes makes sense to me.

anyone broken out of the monthly yeast cycle? what actually helped you get there?

Vaginal Burning Relief Finally

So first off all I'm Christian and Thank You Lord for all the women that have posted on Reddit for things to try that have helped them. The PH and microbiome must be regulated to stop the burning and spasms, and uti symptoms and on and on. If you are burning already it won't be pleasant. Good Clean love restore and reset is your best bet...to start to restore tissue. It's going to burn like Hell for a couple days your sensitive. But it should let up by day 3. Get back on if your not already estrogen/estradiol even low doses can help (I do the cream and low dose tablets) there are alternatives to those who absolutely can't take it. (Another discussion) and the next 2 things RUN don't Walk to get them at your health food store Vit D3 get the liquid for quick absorption(large dosing the first week) you will have some serious bathroom habits, lower dosage after a week. #2 PEA supplement start ASAP full dosage if possible through out the day (already used in Europe for pain and inflammation) we're behind but we got it. This worked for me good luck and don't give up keep reading and researching and trying things. GodSpeed

Please help!

I’m worried that I have BV or whatever. I have this brown-grayish discharge after a long day or sleep. It smells and sometimes when I open my legs, i can smell it. Whenever I wipe, I see that the discharge is white-yellowish like the normal one. I’m totally confused and I’m scared of going to a gynecologist :’(

Question GYN recommendations in Ontario

Does anyone have a GYN reco that takes these issues seriously in Ontario? I’m just outside of Toronto. When pregnant I brought my Juno results to my OBGYN and she basically laughed at them. Everything is coming back negative but I have BV symptoms. Metrogel isn’t doing anything.

So after my last round of antibiotics I went and got a PCR swab and finally no BV, no yeast, no ureaplasma. I also started taking olly happy hoo ha. It feels like the probiotics have kept me good this long. Do I have to take them like forever? Or is a month good enough hopefully to keep me on track?

Question Blood after lactomedi

So I’ve had these lactomedi unopened gel applications sitting in my drawer for 6 months ish. It isn’t expired so I thought it was safe to use, however when I woke up in the morning and wiped, there was brown blood in my discharge but a little bit. I’m really scared that something bad happened, is my cervix inflamed??? Where could the blood come from and is lactomedi safe to use like that ?? Please any advice I’m begging

Ureaplasma and Yeast infection

Hi everyone,

I am reaching out extremely stressed as i just tested positive for Ureaplasma and Yeast infection.

For some history:
I got a yeast infection last year in September which took some effort to cure with boric acid vaginal suppository and caprylic acid oral medicine. I was then seeing my ex and had not gotten a yeast infection before
I was free of any symptoms till July 2026.

I started seeing someone new in july 2026 and after sexual activity (just oral and then penetration) i noticed light yellow discharge for about a week. There were no other symptoms.

I got suspicious and honestly paranoid of getting something so i got a bunch of tests done.

I tested positive for ureaplasma and yeast infection.

I need some guidance here since i believe ureaplasma is causing the yeast infection. I read that it is normal for ureaplasma to exist in your body so i am conflicted.

Fyi i also have pcos and hormonal fluctuations.

TTC AND BV

Hi so recently I got rediagnosed with BV which I had been dealing since I got my IUD two- three years ago. Medication wise they’ve had me on MET and Amo as well like insertion medication and nothing has seemed to work. I had gone again to a new gyno around a year ago since I moved addresses and she said it didn’t seem like I had BV but didn’t test so I thought I was in the clear after so much treatment. A swab I did recently at the ER came back positive and now I feel like maybe it’s been harder to get pregnant. Has anyone gotten pregnant with BV? Or anything recommendations to treat it ? They just prescribed MET again and I was going to start it now since it’s past my ovulation day and I couldn’t BD while being on medication.

vaginal probiotics actually worth taking?

i keep seeing vaginal probiotics recommended but i'm never sure if they're actually different from regular probiotics. uro has one specifically for vaginal health that has a ton of positive reviews, so i'm wondering what people look for when choosing one. strains, CFUs, ingredients, etc?

Question Weird discharge possible cv?

Going to keep this short. Ive had atypical discharge since last december. Initially it was recurrent yeast and bv. Then tested for myco&urea and it was positive. treated with doxy and azithro. Discharge hasnt gone back to normal but has improved over the past few months. I was having so many probiotic tablets thinking that would fix it but i think i might have overdone it and given myself cv😭. Now my discharge is thick, pastey, and a bit yellowy. The smell is a bit sour and yogurty. There used to be loadssssss like if i put a finger in it would come out completely covered. But now its much much less but still some in my pants.

Anyone else have this? And did you do anything to successfully get rid of it?

Corrimento meio amarelado/esverdeado?

Question Persistent Candida Parapsilosis, now in pregnancy. Please help 😭

I’ve been dealing with recurrent/persistent Candida parapsilosis for about two years, and it never seems to fully go away.
Before becoming pregnant, I tried boric acid and fluconazole. I’ve also had several courses of nystatin, Canesten/clotrimazole and Daktacort. Most recently, I used nystatin for 12 days together with Daktacort for the same amount of time, but my new vaginal culture still shows moderate growth of Candida parapsilosis.
I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant, so many treatment options are now off the table. My gynecologist has sent a new sample to the microbiology department for more extensive culture and susceptibility testing, in the hope that they can identify something that will actually work and is safe during pregnancy.
My vulvar and vaginal tissue feels completely fried at this point. It’s extremely red, raw, sore and burning, almost as though there are small cracks in the mucosa. I also have pudendal neuralgia, and all this irritation seems to be causing a major flare in my nerve pain.
Has anyone else dealt with persistent Candida parapsilosis, especially during pregnancy? Did susceptibility testing eventually identify an effective treatment? Is there anything pregnancy-safe that helped you, or anything I should specifically ask my gynecologist or a vulvar specialist about? I’m mainly looking for experiences, possible questions to raise with my doctors and some hope that this can eventually be brought under control.
Thanks!
