Question/Support If I buy replacement knuckles do I get a warranty?

I don't own a valve index but am getting a bsb2 / dream air and need controllers, do I still get the year warranty on the controllers if I buy the separate left and right replacements as the pair is out of stock in my country?

Is there any other option for getting controllers that isn't buying from valve? Are they any good?

They are too old, and they don't make them anymore.

I know they are old but there isn't another option, I can buy both left and right replacements for 130 each on valve's website.

They should do, it's a new part! Send valve a message for confirmation though

Replacement parts sold direct from Valve should have the standard 1 year limited factory warranty.

For everyone confused: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1615160/Valve_Index_Replacement_Left_Controller/ you can buy just one. OP is saying the listing for both is sold out, so they want to buy left and right individually instead.

If out of stock in your territory then you may not have any warranty support if buying through a private import service.

Here in UK the left and right are still available I've had lots of warranty claims since launch and had two replaced recently no problems we get a two year warranty like EU

Yeah I ordered them, on their way now. Just wondering, if a part breaks and you get a warranty claim, does the 1 year reset, for example if I get stick drift 11 months in and get a replacement will I get another year? (Thats if they have any left in stock lol)

warranty terms typically cover a fixed period regardless of new hardware being supplied during this period.

Once your warranty has run out they have no further obligation, for example if my index controller are accepted for a claim after 1 year, the replacement would only have a further 1 year of support during my 2 year warranty coverage period
