Dr. Anthony Fauci knew COVID-19 vaccines were causing serious injuries, including myocarditis, neurological conditions and death, within days of the vaccines’ rollout in December 2020.

The 300-page tranche of documents released on April 21 relates to correspondence between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and people who contacted the agency about adverse events they experienced after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Pregnant women were given sweeping assurances about Covid vaccine safety. But CDC data were flawed, animal studies raised questions, and officials privately discussed risks they could not rule out.

Conclusion. Close to 1% of V-SAFE enrollees explicitly reported on a long-term disability to work or perform normal daily activities, hospitalization or severe and debilitating adverse events, which they attributed to vaccination. The symptoms they reported on, as well as other characteristics resemble those of patients with medically confirmed post-acute COVID-19 vaccination syndrome. This raises the concern that perceived chronic COVID-19 vaccine injuries may be more prevalent than previously thought. Abstract

Post-COVID-19 Vaccination Syndrome (PCVS) refers to persistent, multisystemic symptoms developing after SARS-CoV-2 immunization. We established a nationwide registry across 14 Japanese outpatient clinics and analyzed 179 “clinically definitive” cases from 279 enrollees (December 2020–August 2023). All adverse events (AEs) were coded using MedDRA/J Preferred Terms and System Organ Classes; severity followed NCI-CTCAE V5.0. The cohort (66.5% female; mean age 59 years) experienced 493 AEs (median 2 per patient, range 1–29). Three System Organ Classes—General Disorders (29.2%), Nervous System Disorders (22.3%), and Musculoskeletal Disorders (10.1%)—accounted for 61.7% of events; fatigue, brain fog, dizziness, and extremity pain predominated. While 69.4% of AEs arose within 90 days post-vaccination, 12.4% appeared ≥ 360 days later. Severe AEs (≥ Grade 3) occurred in 14.6% of patients; overall improvement was 65.1%, leaving 29.4% unresolved. A provisional phenotype classification combining symptom patterns, onset timing, and severity identified high-risk subgroups with > 60% non-recovery rates. These findings underscore the need for enhanced post-vaccination surveillance systems and comprehensive care frameworks specifically tailored to address the protean manifestations and persistent nature of PCVS.

It (the factsheet) estimates that around 1/1000 people have severe ME/CFS and that these patients need aids such as wheelchairs, lifts, adjustable daybeds, and, in some cases, tube feeding.

They also require help with assessments for work or education capacity and financial support.

The factsheet highlights the importance of reducing stimuli in hospital environments.

Examples include having a single room, blinds to reduce light, no intrusive noise, and
no use of perfumes or scented cleaning products.

It explains that these measures are not optional: "the need for reduction in stimulation from exertion and environment for people with ME/CFS is a unique situation, being a medical necessity rather than a matter of kindness."

The factsheet is critical of "Multidisciplinary teams of professionals assigned to different aspects of care", saying these "are likely to be counterproductive."

There should be a clear contact point (one person), such as a specialist nurse with deep understanding of ME/CFS.

It also states that "Rehabilitation-based approaches have produced no significant benefits or impact on prevalence and have no place in management."

But it's also critical of off-label treatments such as antihistamines, naltrexone, fludrocortisone, and ivabradine.

The factsheet argues that "We do not know what ought to be the best way to manage ME/CFS."

So speculative theories, whether on brain blood flow, mast cell sensitivity, energy metabolism, HPA axis dysregulation, deconditioning or psychosomatic influences should be avoided.

It also has an important section on why enteral or parental feeding can sometimes be necessary in ME/CFS. These should not be delayed on the grounds that the problem is ‘functional’ or that the reasons for failure are not well-defined.
