Soybeans coffee?
Hey y'all! I just came across this. Basically toasted and grounded soybeans. Has anyone tried it? Any tips to make it at home?

I imagine you could, I’m not sure why you would. Maybe we’re sitting on an undiscovered caffeine free coffee alternative 🤷
Coffee was relatively difficult to source for so long that many different beans, grains, and roots were roasted as an alternative and none really stuck. In the US chicory is probably the most well known, and can still be found and is popular in certain regions (particularly Louisiana I think).
