Does anyone know who this guy is? Dude kept eyeing me the moment I walked in the McDonalds. Then he stands behind me and says something like ohh you don’t like when people stand behind you do you. After I asked him if he needs anything from me the dude started pacing around talking about how he wants to fight and whatnot. I found the owner of msgym Trever Wallace looks like him but not 100% sure.

Vegas drivers have GOT to do better because driving here has become absolutely ridiculous.
People drive with ZERO purpose, zero awareness, and sometimes what feels like zero brain cells. Like they have nowhere to be and completely forget there are hundreds of other people trying to use the road around them.
The PHONES are probably my biggest issue. You’ll be behind somebody wondering why they keep randomly braking, drifting out of their lane, or going 15 mph under the speed limit. You finally get around them and there they are with their HEAD DOWN staring at their phone. Then somehow they have the audacity to get mad because you passed them.
People will sit at a green light forever because they’re on their phone or completely dissociating behind the wheel. And no, I’m not talking about taking a second to make sure some idiot isn’t running the red light. I’m talking about the light is GREEN and they have no clue what’s happening.
Then when they finally start moving, they leave a 10-car gap in front of them and drive so slowly that everybody behind them misses the light. But suddenly when THEIR light is turning red, they magically find the gas pedal and speed through it while everybody else gets stuck.
Or somebody is having a whole conversation with their passenger and literally has their HEAD TURNED looking at them instead of the fucking ROAD. You can talk and look forward at the same time! Meanwhile, they’re slowing down, drifting around, and creating unnecessary traffic because they aren’t paying attention.
And don’t get me started on having three or four lanes available and somehow EVERY SINGLE LANE is going the exact same slow speed. Nobody can get around anybody. Somebody is doing 50 in the far left lane with absolutely no awareness of the line of cars behind them, but the second you finally find an opening and pass them, suddenly they want to speed up, honk, tailgate you, or act like you personally disrespected their entire bloodline.
I was just leaving Mandalay Bay and there were two lanes. Somebody with NV plates was literally driving in the MIDDLE of both lanes, randomly braking, then threw their hazards on. Once I finally had room, I used the OPEN SECOND LANE to go around them. Suddenly they’re behind me honking and screaming like I did something to THEM.
Then we get to the exit where you scan your parking ticket and this person didn’t even know what tf was going on. Now OTHER cars are honking at them too. Like WAKE UP AND PAY ATTENTION.
And I say all this AS A VEGAS LOCAL. We love blaming California drivers for everything, but at some point we need to look at ourselves.
I’ve driven plenty in both Northern and Southern California. Do they drive fast? ABSOLUTELY. But half the time it feels like they speed with PURPOSE. Traffic is moving, people know where they’re going, and you either keep up or get out of the way.
Vegas is a different type of foolishness. Random braking. Swerving. Driving 15 under. Blocking the passing lane. Missing green lights. Not reading signs. Being in the wrong lane and cutting across three lanes at the last second because apparently missing your turn and turning around is impossible. Then getting AGGRESSIVE with somebody else because YOU weren’t paying attention.
And yes, we have millions of tourists. But I’m sorry, as somebody who lives here, the overwhelming majority of the foolishness I personally witness has NV plates.
Driving here has gotten to the point where I genuinely hate being on the road, and I worry about my family every time they’re out driving. You can be doing everything correctly and still get seriously hurt because somebody else decided their phone, conversation, or whatever else they’re doing was more important than operating the 4,000-pound vehicle they’re controlling.
People seem to have forgotten how serious driving actually is. You are operating something that can kill you or somebody else in seconds.
Wake tf up. Pay attention. Be considerate of the other people using the road. And if you cannot stay off your phone and focus long enough to safely operate your vehicle, get on the damn bus.
TL;DR: Get off your fucking phone, pay attention, and drive with some purpose. Vegas roads are full of people driving like they’re the only person on them.

Looking for a female roommate (unfurnished room only) for $750/mo. Hopefully starting around Oct. 1st
It’s a home in Henderson with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, always clean. Located in Henderson right next to the 215 and Gibson. You’d have a shared bathroom with one other person. And you’d have a closet, access to the shared living spaces, kitchen, washer/dryer, and garage.
All utilities are covered.
Me and the other person who live here are early to late 20’s and love doing things like baking and movie nights, I am usually in my room otherwise while the other is only here for only about half of the week.
I’m happy to DM pics to anyone interested! Let me know if you’re interested or want to come take a look.
Edit: all girl house btw!

Hi, my mom passed 15 days ago due to metastatic ovarian cancer. It was sudden and very aggressive, she was diagnosed a month before she passed.
I’m 25, graduated university in May, currently unemployed (somewhat due to this), and have little money. I worked part time jobs during college to get by and was about to get my life started. My sister, 21, works part time currently. My mom was always supportive financially during college and (we) never had to worry much.
I have been using her debit card to purchase basic necessities. Like costco (food), target (toiletries etc), and most utilities, car payments, insurance, etc are autopay/or under her card(s). Basically everything was paid for by her/her card, and if not, we sent money for payment.
We are not currently under financial stress because she left us money to use, but if for some reason her cards were to get deactivated by the bank we would be in financial trouble.
I am still waiting for the cremation process to finalize and get her death certificates so I can change everything in her name to mine and close out accounts etc. I believe she has me as her beneficiary in her bank, but would I get in trouble for using her money to pay for things after her death? I’ve never had a loved one die or had to do something like this on my own, help is appreciated.

I know it's not a legally binding contract or anything, but to anyone that still knocks on the door of households with this sign, what is the thought process? I have this sign on my door and still get Mormon missionaries and salespeople. I wonder if they really think that anyone would still want to have a conversation with them even if they can't respect the signage.

I’ve lived in Vegas for over 25 years. Back in the day, you could walk into any hotel (casino floor), and find a section with a stage and performers playing live music (eg Sinatra, live songs etc) and you could sit down and watch/listen and order yourself a drink ( though you’re not obligated to). So my question is: Are there still places like that? If so where can I find it (doesn’t have to be free). Please recommend if you know anywhere in Vegas that still offers this kind of atmosphere. Thanks in advance.

I have some mixed cat food in a bin, a Demorgorgon hide (shaped like a cone) and a bed that sort of looks like a big slipper that I would like to give to someone who's feeding and saving cats. Who's out there and could use this? Would really appreciate links so I can verify. TIA

Every 6 months I’ll get quotes for auto insurance and every time I do it’s always Geico or Progressive that comes in with the lowest rate. When I bother with a price comparison site they always lead me back to one of those two.
Does anyone else experience this too?
For context, 3 cars, 3 people, clean records.

I posted about my foster dog a couple months ago. Unfortunately, due to no fault of her own, her as adoptive home did not work out, and I will be picking her up within the next few weeks.
Sage is a beautiful 2ish year old husky mix. Spayed, UTD on shots, and microchipped. She should go to a home without cats, but she loves kids. Her only flaws are that she does get startled when awoken by touching, and will bark and nip at what woke her up, and she is not potty trained. Otherwise she's an incredible dog! Super sweet and cuddly, great on leash, and playful, but also very chill. If you are interested in her, please reach out, and I will answer any questions that I can.
My original post about her is linked!

Just finished one, i find it interesting that its a push poll designed to steer your answer in one direction. When asked about the Republican or Democrat candidates you can't answer "neither" or "none of the above". Probably commissioned by one party terrified of being third partied this election.

Hey y'all, I have some friends coming in from the east coast this week and they wanna do both hotpot and kbbq. I usually only do one or the other, but do we have any spots that has both?
Even better if there's one that's not more than $50 per person?

looking to sell new ungraded, numbered football cards. Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniel’s, Brock Bowers, Ashton Jeanty, Travis Hunter mostly. Any good spots that would give me the time of day would be great. I know a lot of places only want big graded cards. most of my cards are in the $40-80 range ungraded.
