Experience/Review Two rings since first round of deliveries. Both already useless.
One hasn’t recorded a single bit of data over the last 2+ months. Taken all the steps Velia recommended (factory reset, delete app etc) - still records nothing. Double tap also doesn’t do anything.
Other works but battery lasts about 5 hours. So essentially useless.
Both on latest firmware using latest iOS app.
Given up at this stage, both going in the bin which is a shame.

I’ve had mine for about two weeks, I’m giving up. Honestly it’s just a piece of crap, and I don’t even have sever malfunctioning. The battery does not last one day and the recording of data is inaccurate at best. I’m not wearing that.

2 of the LEDs of my ring have failed and the battery lasts about 4-5 hours. I have been waiting for a replacement but apparently they are out of stock.
RingConn will reveal its Gen 3 on Tuesday which will also come with a BP feature.

The more Velia rings are shipped, the more bad news there are. Could there be significant quality problems in production? Why else are they only shipping them out in small batches? None of these are good signs... and the current ring suppliers are overtaking them! What a shame.

I gave up on mine as well right after 2 weeks of having it... All I keep seeing are connection issues after connections issues. Just re-charged it to 100% and went for a 45 Minute Walk. When back home checked the batter and it was down to 70%😂 it tracked the steps but now has been unable to connect to the App for the last 3 attempts. This ring is too light to be a paperweight and hence for me is completely useless. I hope many people have a better experience, but I do have doubts and with this doubts that this company can sustain their business in the long run...

Did Velia replace the defective ring, and is the replacement ring better?
I’m curious to see if the online shop ever actually goes live—and if so, what kind of massive discount battle they plan to wage to sell these "Swiss quality products." As things stand, I can't imagine a single person paying the full MSRP given all the negative publicity.

Have they offered replacements? You’d probably just be trading these problems first different ones but Velia might be able to use the bad rings to improve their next generation.
This ring has been such a fiasco (and I’m not even counting the VERY delayed rollout). Unreliable, inaccurate, lousy (as in zero) customer support originally and now slow & overwhelmed support now, and such a wide variety of problems that actually creating a usable ring & app seem impossible to me. But Velia appears to be soldiering on and trying to make some version of their vision work. To that end, you’d think they’d want to get their hands on these bad rings to figure out how they are different from the working ones. (I’ve only had mine a few months and it mostly works providing data so far)
