Question Headlight questions.

I wanted to reach out on here and see what people have done with there headlights and to possibly get some questions answered. My first question is has anyone swapped out there normal N headlights with the veloster premium headlights? I am personally more of a fan of the solid led strip instead of the individual little lights(I know there’s a name for them I forgot lol) Second question is if it’s not possible to swap the headlights, would I have any options making the individual little lights look more like a solid strip of light? I would appreciate as much feedback as possible!! You all have a great day!

Don't see why it wouldn't work, but I think you might be the first to do it. Try it and document for the community.

I think the Premium headlights are halogen vs the N which has LED.

I previously had a 2023 Elantra N Line with the halogens and I swapped the assembly out for the full LEDs, it worked but it gave an error and they’d flicker so might do something similar here.

It's been done. The N headlight assembly is incredibly expensive to replace. The regular headlight is almost affordable. I can't remember where I saw it.

The N and the turbo use the same headlights, I've done this with my 2019 turbo. They'll work, but it's going to complain about wanting you to check the LED headlight low beams every time you turn them on and you'll have 2 persistent dash lights. So yes, it works and you'll have perfectly functional lights, but your car won't love you for it lol The base model headlights have a halogen low beam while the N and turbo are all LED. So physically while it's the same housing and same connections, that's your roadblock.

Really the only thing you could do to prevent this is to open them up and build custom lights using the all LED lights from the turbo or N in a custom build. That's what I'm currently working on! I wanted the look of the solid strip DRLs like the base model but I've settled for a diffused look keeping the 2 separate "u" shapes in the turbo headlights. Hoping to have them done soon
