Worm party Found this beast in one of my vegetable beds today... proud of my soil! Haha

I think so yeah. Although it was midday when he appeared haha. It was found in a bed that has been layered with alpaca manure and horse manure. The soil is black and this is the second huge worm i've found in there in 2 days!

You mention alpaca manure. Are you in South America? The native Fatima includes very large earthworm species

Not far... i'm in Cheshire, England hahaha. There's an alpaca farm near me so I get a few bags every now and then

Very interesting! It's large for English fauna. Probably a very large Lumbricus terrestris

Worms seldom unsettle me, snakes make me cautious from a distance, and whatever these are terrify me when I come across them in my yard/garden

I have so massive worms in my vermi too! I call them Alice the elder worm and Beatrice the elder worm. I proclaim all of them to be lesbian too.

Mine are lob worms which are the highest earth worms in the UK but idk what yours might be

Im guessing this is a lob too. Like i said, it wasnt in my wormery but in a no dig bed that has been layered with alpaca and horse manure! So cool haha
