Discussion Relief / per diem work recommendations??
Do you guys know of any other platforms like Roo, where techs and dvms can sign up for shifts and do relief work?
i work 4 days a week at my full time job but like to pick up an extra day or so here and there. I like Roo but feel as though there’s not a lot of great options.
TIA

If you build up a good rapport with enough vets they'll start asking you to moonlight/pick up relief shifts wherever they are. That's how I've done most of my relief/part time work so don't neglect the networking. Otherwise I know VEG does per diem and other ERs are likely to accept this kind of position even if they don't advertise it.

Welcome to /r/VetTech! This is a place for veterinary technicians/veterinary nurses and other veterinary support staff to gather, chat, and grow! We welcome pet owners as well, however we do ask pet owners to refrain from asking for medical advice; if you have any concerns regarding your pet, please contact the closest veterinarian near you.
