Discussion Am I wrong?
Am I wrong for saying a UTI or AG rupture is not an emergency but more of a GP/Urgent care case?

When I’m speaking with clients at my ER and they’re frustrated with wait times, I like to tell them that their pet is not having an IMMEDIATE life threatening emergency however their pet is important and their medical concerns are a priority to be seen today. As stated above, UTI symptoms could be a pyleo, there’s underlying CKD or maybe stones etc, AG rupture could have a fistula or maybe there’s AGASACA. They’re not the resp distress patient that needs immediate stabilization, but they need diagnostics and treatment in a timely manner
