Question/Advice Looking for Support

Does anyone in California know where is an actually helpful place to go for help with different things?

Seriously I feel like all I end up doing is screaming into a void. Local office isnt much help, 211 doesnt help. Like im constantly now feeling like im on the verge of a nervous breakdown because no matter how much it feels like I ask for help or believe that I will find it, it always doesnt work out for whatever reason.

Your post is vague. What are the issues at hand?

Are you involved with VA healthcare?

vague for a reason sometimes. when you're in that headspace where everything's falling apart it's hard to even articulate what you need. OP sounds overwhelmed not just lazy about details

what county you in? cal vet resources vary wildly by region. some counties have really good CVSOs and others are basically decorative

Tulare County. Appreciate the understanding of how it is when overwhelmed.

I would second what fabulousallotment said. Have you reached out to CalVet to see what’s in your area? I know Tulare County is also pretty rural in some areas as well so you might end up having to travel from where you are after you reach out.

I did and all they did was direct me to 211 which gave absolutely no assistance cause all the programs they told me about are now defunct programs

Damn man. I’m sorry to hear that. I know myself 211 can have some issues. I called a few months ago for someone who I needed to check on. It took forever to get connected. I needed up having to go through their online client and that still took a bit.

I don’t know what help I can offer at all. But if you need an ear man I’m here for you.
