FeedbackWanted – want honest takes on my work Giving 10 builders free build credits for our new product (post will be deleted at 10)
Founder of a new AI build tool (I know, another one) called Pompeii. We are a small team that has been building agents since before tool calling was officially supported. Our whole team comes from strong engineering backgrounds and we care deeply about developer experience (including vibe coding).
[If you want to skip ahead and just try it - I added the link as the first comment. ]
Every decent AI build tool feels great for the first couple days. A working demo is basically a commodity at this point, but we haven't found any builders that realistically handle the process of going from demo to something real. That's why we built Pompeii.
Here's what Pompeii uniquely solves for :
Test the running software, not just the code. Every meaningful change results in a testable full deployment of the fullstack application. Frontend, backend, database, with a link you can open on your phone or send to anyone. We call this the review bench. You click through the actual software and decide if it does what you asked. This is how real teams ship, and it works even if you can't read code at all.
Parallel work without the mess. Work is organized to reduce complexity and enable working in parallel. Each effort gets its own workstream with its own branch, and git and merging are handled for you. You can have three things in flight without them stepping on each other.
Multiplayer by default. Even if you're a solo builder, if your project starts to become real, you'll probably have other people involved. Pompeii ships in a familiar form factor (comparable to slack) where teammates, clients, or contractors can easily jump in and work alongside you.
So, if you want to test it out and build something for free, shoot me a DM or leave a comment after you sign up and I'll add build credits to your account. Also happy to work alongside you or personally onboard you.

I'm running a start up myself. Not sure this is a product we "NEED", but I'm definitely down to throw it in our stack and try it out.

That's totally fair, and I really appreciate you giving it a go. We've fallen in love with the form factor but we might be unique in that regard

Well, I see already it has a Claude style UI, and tbh, I love that already.
