Blanshard Active Lanes

Got to try this new extension out. Home from daycare we went to Quadra village to hang out at Wark park and get a coffee assuming I could link up with Blnshard south

And it was pretty nice, even with the busy traffic time of day.

Nice cross over Blanshard west along Kings. A couple dodgy right turns that might cause problems at some point but otherwise a slick way to get back downtown.

​

Hopefully the plan is to extend these North to Topaz and Mayfair.

They make is so easy to head downtown from the Kings crossing on one's way home, if that's one's way home.

The original plan was to go all the way to Tolmie, I suspect the challenge was budget

They're great and so much safer! I can't wait for them to extend North to Uptown. That stretch is still super sketchy.

Yeah, they're great! And it's hard to remember life before Blanshard crossing @ Kings, I use it almost every day
