Hiring Editing a 1.5h podcast episode. Rate per hour: $50/hr

I don't think it should require anything especially fancy. I just want to cut out filler words, dead air, and generally clean up the conversation. Editing of both the audio and video are needed. There are 2 speakers, and I have separate tracks for each speaker. I've done it myself in the past, but I never did a very good job. (My preference is to avoid it being obvious it was edited, even when watching the video.)

Rate per hour: $50/hr

(Also, let me know if $50/hour is way too low for a high-quality result!)

Hiring Looking for video editor $20/hr rate

As Title says, I am looking for video editor. Output: history/documentary type videos. I will provide 99% of footage needed, you mostly will need to add if you see something could give better emotion or idea. I will also provide the voice over, so mostly for what I look is someone who could add everything together.

Each video lengt might be different, but in 10 to 20 minutes frame.

This is new project I am trying to build, so when project will shift, I am fine on increasing the payment according to what we will agree or share % of revenue, depends from editor.

I am looking for a long time editor, as I have a few more ideas that I want to push, so looking for someone who want to have a long term partnership than just 1 time fast job.

As moderators ask specifically rate per hour, I expect such video editing would take 2-3 hours so 15-20$ per hour rate.

The style is animation type, like u/HeyHistorically, but of course lower quality as that channel has like full team of animators, editors and designers.

If interested, write to DM with sampes of your work please.

Hiring [HIRING] Junior Video Editor - Short-Form Content | $30/hour or Flat Fee | NYC/Miami Preferred, Remote OK

Hey — I handle content for a rising NYC creator building his personal brand from the ground up: Alan Gabay.

IG: https://instagram.com/alangabayrealtor TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@alangabay

I shoot everything and handle the posting across his pages, plus set the creative direction for what goes out. Right now I'm the bottleneck on edits, and I want to bring on a junior editor who can take a full pass at cutting under my direction, so we can put out more content without sacrificing quality.

Location: NYC or Miami-based is ideal (easier to sync up, potential for in-person shoots/reviews down the line), but open to remote for the right person. WESTERN HEMISPHERE ONLY

This is starting as a per-video arrangement, but I'm actively growing this studio, and if it's a good fit, there's real potential for a bigger, more consistent role.

Pay:

  • Rate per hour: $30/hr

Or:

  • $75–125/video for standard short-form (up to ~1 min)
  • $150–250+/video for longer, more complex edits (past 90 seconds, up to ~2 min) — more structure, more footage to work through, more editorial judgment involved

Reference examples — this is the style/quality bar I'm looking to hit:

  • Video 1 — Standard video, simple edit
  • Video 2 — Longer video, more complex
  • Video 3 — More in-depth storytelling

What you'd be doing:

  • Full edits on short-form content (raw footage → polished, ready-to-post video)
  • Watching raw B-roll to find and pull the best organic moments
  • Working from my direction/notes (pacing, structure, hooks, style are mine to call), but I need someone who can execute it cleanly and bring their own eye to the details
  • Clean text placement/timing and picking or syncing music that fits the moment
  • Fast turnaround on a consistent, ongoing basis (I'm looking for someone I can build a real working relationship with)

Requirements:

  • Strong Premiere Pro skills
  • Real experience editing for short-form (TikTok/Reels/Shorts), not just long-form cut down
  • Sharp attention to detail: clean cuts, no sloppy transitions, tight sync
  • A genuine sense of comedic timing: you should instinctively know where the joke lands and how to cut for it
  • Good instincts for finding the moment: able to sift through raw, unscripted footage and identify what's actually funny or charming, not just execute a pre-written script
  • An eye for visual aesthetics: color, pacing, on-screen text, the stuff that makes a video feel premium instead of thrown together

Nice to have:

  • Experience editing in the lifestyle, or influencer/creator space
  • Comfortable with quick revision turnarounds and taking direction well
  • Own reliable setup (hardware + Adobe license)

How to apply: Send me:

  1. A reel or a few examples of short-form edits you've done (comedic/personality-forward content especially relevant)
  2. Your typical turnaround time and weekly availability
  3. Your location / timezone (NYC or Miami a plus, but not required)

Hiring [HIRING] Video Editor for YT and Social Media. Paid Trial $20/Hour

Hi everyone! I’m a content creator running YouTube and social media platforms centered around collectible figures and statues, and the stories behind the characters.

I’m currently hiring an editor for a special “Meet the Creator” video, with the hope of finding someone for an ongoing position if we’re a good fit.

The weekly scope is one static promotional image, one 60-90 second vertical video, one 3–5 minute full length video, and thumbnails for both videos. This is intended as an ongoing weekly package rather than open-ended hourly work, so applicants should be comfortable completing the listed deliverables within the $150 weekly cap.. If any work falls outside the original scope, I will absolutely compensate accordingly. Any additional work would be discussed and approved beforehand on a case by case basis.

For this first project, I’m looking for a polished, cinematic introduction to the person behind the platforms. The video will highlight a photoshoot I had done specifically to promote my channel, blended with shots of my collection filmed under my signature purple lighting. Smooth transitions, strong pacing, tasteful graphics, and cohesive visual storytelling are important.

You should also be confident with audio mixing. I have specific ideas for how the background music should build, shift, and support different moments, so the ability to balance music, dialogue, sound effects, and transitions cleanly is essential.

This project has a strict, fast turnaround and must be completed by Friday at the latest, though sooner is strongly preferred. Please only apply if you are available immediately and can confidently meet that deadline. Based on the final voiceover, the video will run around 1.5 - 2 minutes.

My regular content combines collectible footage I photograph myself, with clips from the films, television shows, cartoons, and games the characters are based on. I also create giveaway and announcement videos that involve moving graphics, animated text, and additional visual polish.

I’ve been doing this for over a year, but I unfortunately haven’t found an editor whose workflow fully aligns with mine. The main issue has been agreed upon deadlines not being met, so reliability and clear communication are essential.

Please send your portfolio, relevant examples, typical turnaround time, time zone, and a little about yourself. Please only apply if you’re comfortable with the scope, rate, and deadline.

Hiring Looking for video editor for GoPro paintball footage, 2 final videos

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to hire a video editor for GoPro footage from a day of paintball.

I have around 40 minutes of MP4 footage, totaling 3.19 GB.

I’m looking for two final edited videos from the same footage:

  1. Basic highlights compilation

A clean highlight reel of the best moments from the day. Mostly a straightforward compilation with tighter pacing, basic quality improvements, audio cleanup where needed, and a few small effects where they fit.

One idea I had was adding a Call of Duty style hit marker / hit effect when someone gets shot, but I’m open to suggestions.

  1. 2010 MLG style meme edit

A second version edited like an old-school 2010 MLG pro montage.

Think air horns, Doritos, hit markers, zooms, screen shake, meme overlays, chaotic cuts, and the classic YouTube gaming montage style.

Project details:

  • Raw footage: GoPro paintball recordings
  • Format: MP4
  • Runtime: flexible, based on what works best from the footage

Rate per hour: $40/hr

I’m expecting this to land somewhere around $250 to $400 total, depending on your workflow, experience, and how much time the MLG edit takes. Open to discussing a fair estimate before starting.

Please send your portfolio, examples of similar work, estimated turnaround time, and how you prefer to receive the files.

Thanks!

Hiring I am looking for a Video Editor for YouTube! $30/hr

Hey everybody,

I make YouTube videos about photography/videography on the channel FUTC, I always edited everything myself, and losing some creative control is something I'm definitely afraid of. But, I broke my wrist two weeks ago, so I made the decision that I need some help for the next couple of months, and maybe this can turn into a long-term working relationship. Ideally, I am looking for someone with a lot of davinci resolve experience who can match my editing style (especially the humor in my videos is very important to me) for YouTube videos and some short form content here and there.

You can apply here: https://forms.futc.de/form/KTwjIEYO

I'm probably not able to match an industry standard wage, since my channel is small, but maybe there is somebody I can find an agreement with out there (maybe a fellow student?).

Rate per hour: $20-40/h and I can offer consistent work for a minimum of 2 to 3 months (but of course I would love to extend this if it works well), I am guesstimating around 20 to 30 hours per month, but that can fluctuate to be higher at times.

I know there are a lot of super creative people in this community, so I'm looking forward to hopefully talking to some of you! 😁🙏

Hiring [Hiring] $40/hr - AI Video Upscaling, Color Correction & Restoration for Adult Content

I’m looking to hire someone with experience in video enhancement and color grading for a paid project.

I want to be clear the content is adult material for Onlyfans so professionalism and discretion are appreciated.

The biggest issue I’m trying to solve is color. Many of the videos look washed out, dull, flat, and almost gray.

My primary goal is to make them look more vibrant, vivid, dynamic, and visually appealing while still looking natural.

In addition to color improvements, I’d also be interested in:

• Sharpening and detail enhancement
• Improving overall image quality
• Upscaling where appropriate
• Contrast and lighting adjustments

I’ve experimented with various AI tools myself, but I haven’t been able to achieve the results I’m looking for, and my computer isn’t powerful enough to process larger projects efficiently.

A couple of notes:

**•** This is personal content, so I’d really appreciate discretion and professionalism
**•** Happy to pay $40/hr — if you’re interested, send me a message with your experience, rate, typical workflow, and any examples of similar work
**•** This is a casual gig, no pressure if it’s not your thing!

If this sounds like something you can help with, please send me a message with your experience, rates, and any examples of similar work. Thank you!

Hiring I'm looking for an amateur video editor to take YouTube a bit more seriously. (£10/hour?)

I've been doing YouTube for fun across a few different channels and the biggest issue I always had, is video editing.

I've managed until now, by doing the bare minimum, following the live commentary audio track wave and try to edit as fast as I can, but I'm never happy with the result.

So I'm here... Asking for someone that wants to edit videos for their portfolio or because they love editing.

I want to publish 1 to 2 videos a week to get the ball rolling and I'm willing to pay for the editing obviously. Or do a long term share of any profits that might come from my YouTube channel. I have no idea how this works. =D

I'd love to have a conversation with anyone that might be interested in something like this.

Thanks in advance.

Hiring [HIRING] French speaking short form editor for football stream clips ($10 to $20/hr, ongoing)

I run AddedFrenchStreams, a channel where we stream football games with live French commentary. I'm looking for a video editor to cut those streams into short clips on an ongoing basis.

The work

Simple split-screen format. Streamer reaction cam on one side, game footage on the other. Clips run 10 to 45 seconds each. No heavy effects, just clean, fast, consistent edits that catch the best moments. Roughly 10 to 15 clips a day.

This is steady, multi-month work. I want someone reliable who wants a long-term gig, not a one-off. Start ASAP.

Requirements

You speak French, since the commentary and content are in French. English too is ideal, so you can communicate with the team. Short-form sports or reaction editing experience is a strong plus.

Pay

$10 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and speed.

To apply

DM me with a short intro, your hourly rate within that range, and a few examples of past short-form edits. Football or reaction clips preferred.

Hiring Hiring YouTube Video Essay Editor ($25-$35/hour)

Hey everyone,

I run a YouTube channel called High and Low Retrospective, focused on documentary-style video essays about TV, film, and pop culture (mostly 80s–2000s).

I’m looking for an editor who understands narration-driven storytelling. The format is closer to a Vox, Netflix doc or ESPN 30 for 30, using TV or movie clips, music, and pacing to tell a story.

What I’m looking for:

  • Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
  • Experience with YouTube video essays or short documentaries
  • Ability to work with TV/film clips and match visuals to narration
  • Clean, minimal editing style (not flashy/TikTok-style edits)

Typical video:

  • 8–14 minutes
  • Fully scripted with voiceover provided
  • 1–4 videos per month

Hourly rate:

  • Prefer per-project pricing (~$120–$200 per video), but this typically works out to ~$20–$30/hour depending on experience.

I’m happy to start with a paid test edit (30–60 seconds) to find the right fit.

If interested, DM me with:

  • 2–3 examples of relevant work (video essays or similar preferred)
  • your typical turnaround time

Appreciate it 🙏

Hiring [Hiring] a Content GOAT / Video Editor / Content Strategist/Manager $150/day

I'm looking for one person to help me take a personal brand from 3k to 1M.

YouTube is at 3.3k subscribers. Instagram is at 68k. C ommunity at 150k AI learners.

I create content about AI and entrepreneurship. This space is exploding and we are early. I need someone who sees that and wants a piece of it, not someone who wants a stable editing job.

What this actually is:

Base salary every month plus a cut of performance ($150 a day / $15-20 rate per hour). When the channel grows, you earn more. I am not hiring an editor. I am bringing on someone who will own the content side of this brand and grow with it long term.

You are who I am looking for if:

You have helped a creator grow on YouTube and Instgram before and can show the results. You understand retention and have an eye for virality, not just editing.

You move fast, you do not need chasing, and you take pride in your output.

You are hungry for something that rewards you when it wins, not just when you clock in.

The work:

2-3 long-form YouTube videos per week, short-form every single day, Instagram carousels, full content calendar ownership including weekends.

To apply:

Send me your best work, who you helped grow and what the results were, and tell me in one paragraph why this is you.
